China Glaze Keep Calm, Paint On Nail Lacquer Review, Photos, Swatches
China Glaze Keep Calm, Paint On Nail Lacquer
China Glaze Keep Calm, Paint On Nail Lacquer ($8.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “sea foam green.” It’s a pale, sea foam green (or aqua green, if you prefer) with very fine white micro-shimmer. Butter London Fiver is the closest shade I have to this, but Fiver is a cream finish (no shimmer) and a touch lighter. MAC In the Limelight is bluer, darker, and a cream.
The formula was slightly on the thicker side but still rather manageable, so it wasn’t troublesome to work with when I applied it. Keep Calm, Paint On was full opaque in color after two medium coats of polish. Despite its pale coloring, I didn’t have issues with streaking, which tends to be something that pastels are prone to. Â It applied fairly evenly and smoothly, and it didn’t bubble or pool along the edges. Â The drying time seemed a bit faster than the average polish with this color. Â I usually get a week of wear with minor tip wear but no chipping with China Glaze’s formula.

Sea foam hued, I love that description 😀
This is such an interesting color! I don’t think I own anything remotely similar in my stash either. Must check it out!
Same here!! Will most defiantly try to find it! Hopefully I can pull it off LOL
It’s even cheaper on Amazon! $2.99+ $2.69 shipping. I was on the fence, but I’m not even going to be mad at $5.68– I picked it up stat.
Looks so much better on your nails than it did in the bottle! Great springtime polish, very fresh and clean looking.
Oh my love for this shade is stuck in a match with my utter refusal to buy any (more) products that try to cash in on that godforesaken phrase.
Another possible dupe for this — looks almost exactly like Julep in Shenae, which I’m wearing on my nails right now. Very light seafoam green with opalescent shimmer, though it’s hardly noticeable.
This is one of my least favorites from the Avant Garden collection. It is just too pale for my skintone and tends to give me lobster fingers. I do however love the micro-shimmer and I’m sure it will look great on other people.
How do you keep your cuticles looking so freakin’ amazing?!
I love how it has a slight hint of shimmer! Most mint polishes are a cream finish!
Sea Foam Green’s are my favorite nail colors against my skin color. I must have this!
I like this type of green, I actually prefer it to the more common light mint shades that were so popular a few years back… I think it looks really pretty and modern.
zoya’s neely looks pretty similar, minus the shimmer (another cream finish like the butter london shade you mentioned)
I love this color! I will definitely pick this up.
Just bought this shade and put it on in my car….Love it! So gorgeous, I know this is going to become my goto spring color this year.
