Are You Red-y for This Adventure?

China Glaze Adventure Red-y Nail Lacquer ($7.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “vivid red.” It’s a medium-dark red cream with some depth and richness; if it had shimmer, it would read very holiday. MAC Stage Red is very comparable. China Glaze Winter Berry is a bit darker. MAC Get Noticed is a smidgen darker. Butter London Pillar Box Red is brighter. MAC Obey Me is comparable. Rescue Beauty Lounge Glamourpuss is a touch darker. Zoya Burke is similar.

It was opaque in two coats but nearly opaque in one. The consistency was amazing; fluid, not too thick or too thin, and flowed without bubbling, streaking, or pooling along the edges of the nail.  Adventure Red-y is a shining example of China Glaze at their best.  I typically get a full week of wear with no chipping and minor tip wear.

I’m with you on that one! I’ve never been particularly fond of red nails, and more inclined to off black dark vampy polishes, but lately, I’m feeling out a lot more colours and red has become very attractive to me including this one.

I like the “classic” quality of a true, red cream polish, but I don’t find myself wearing them too often. This one has a “smokier” vibe to it, though, which makes it seem more interesting. At this pricepoint, I’m actually inclined to check it out!

I don’t do red often, but this looks….juicy!!! LOL Really pretty finish. Can tell it applied well, and China Glaze’s prices are on point!
