Charlotte Tilbury Hepburn Honey & Love Bite Kissing Lipstick Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Yes Honey (was Hepburn Honey)
Charlotte Tilbury Yes Honey Kissing Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a light-medium peach with warm undertones and a luminous finish. It had rich, opaqued color coverage that applied evenly and smoothly. This shade wore well for four and a half hours, while the formula was lightly hydrating and creamy enough to glide on without tugging.
This shade was previously named Hepburn Honey.

Formula Overview
$37.00/0.12 oz. - $308.33 Per Ounce
The Kissing formula is supposed to be pigmented and luminous, while also being hydrating. It has a creamier, lightweight consistency that's comfortable to wear and to apply with a moderately hydrating formula to back it. I find that some of the creamier shades can sit in my lip lines a bit, but it really depends on the shade on how noticeable it is in person. The wear ranges from three to five hours (reds and the like). There's a faint, sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Love Bite
Charlotte Tilbury Love Bite Kissing Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a brightened, medium red with subtle, neutral-to-warm undertones and a luminous finish. I think this may look bluer-based on those with strong, cool undertones, but it seems more neutral to lightly warm-toned when I swatch it next to more distinctively blue-based lipsticks. It had rich, full color coverage that went on evenly and smoothly. This shade wore well for over six hours and left a stain behind. It was lightly hydrating over time and comfortable to wear. There are definitely a lot of similar shades within this type of finish (there are so many that I’ve omitted mattes, but I don’t doubt that there would be matte shades with a similar coloring).

I love Charlotte Tilbury and those shades look awesome! Specially the nude, but I fear it would be too light for me. My lips are very pigmented and usually the colour shows through light lipsticks… not a good look. :/
Aww! 🙁 Have you tried filling in with lip liner to help give you a little more opacity?
Yes! It works sometimes, but the problem is that then I see myself in the mirror and it’s so weird! Haha I think it just clashes too much with my skin or my normal look due to my pigmented lips. I’ll keep experimenting though! Thanks for the advice. 🙂
Try Penelope pink, I was so surprised that it works for my pigmented lips. I tried so many nude lipsticks and it was the only that works.
Oh I shall try that one! I have Bitch Perfect and it’s very beautiful. I can pull off nudes as long as they are not too light, and luckily the trend seems to be going on the direction of darker nudes in general, or so it seems!
These colors look great on you! I don’t have Hepburn Honey, I chose Penelope Pink as my nude … but now I’m rethinking and wondering if I need HH too, HA! . And btw, your makeup looks amazing! Everytime you wear Guerlain you look flawless 😀
(Afterthought) … I’m still addicted to that Climax blush, I keep rotating that one and Love Glow.
How do you like Penelope Pink, Cristy?
I love PP, its just the right shade of nude for my skin tone. I usually stick to reds and mauves, but I really like her formula. It’s creamy, helps my lips stay moisturized during the day. I usually have drier chapped lips in the fall/winter months.
Reading the comments, Love Bite reminded me of Guerlain’s Genna too … I own LB, but not Genna … it was a shade I was thinking about purchasing in the future, but maybe this saved me a purchase. *crosses fingers*
What a lovely peach Hepburn Honey is! Peach lipsticks are often a bit too pale for me but this one looks like it might work.
Hope you can try it!
Love Bite looks like a dead ringer for Guerlain Gemma from your photos! My favourite lipstick of all time.
There are a few Guerlain lipsticks that come close! Gemma is pink, so do you mean Genna?
Oops, I did! Didn’t realise there was one called Gemma too.
Oops yep I am – typo – didn’t realise there was a Genna and a Gemma.
Ohhh the peach tone is so beautiful and it looks so lovely on! It really complements your complexion
It applies pretty well!
Pretty, but dupeable.
True!
These aren’t my colors, but they look GREAT on you ! I’m always amazed by how you can pull off so many different colors.
Aw, thanks Katherine!
Hepburn honey kissing is such a unique shade– really love it!
The finish makes it a little more interesting!
Both look so lovely on you! 🙂
Thanks, Lotus! xo
I really like both of them. Despite of being a common red shade, Love Bite is beautiful. And the quality of Hepburn Honey impressed me, because it is a light tone, a peach. I’d like it was a bit cooler. Love nude lipsticks!
It is a nice shade of red for sure!
Love the honey shade. Glad it’s dupeable.
Phew! 😉
I really like red shade of love bite, just neutral enough to work for me I think!
Woohoo!
Love bite is definitely my colour – and yours too Christine. The honey colour just makes a face look unfinished. But the love bite red is stunning.
Thank you, Genevieve!
I have both Hepburn Honey and Penelope Pink. I love both but find I get more wear from Penelope Pink. Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks wear well and feel nice on my lips. Can’t wait for her matte lippies to arrive stateside.
Ooh, Hepburn Honey looks like a great nude!
I want Hepburn honey. So pretty! I’m NC 20, so I think this would look really good on me. Charlotte is killing me with these names. The names make me want her stuff more.
Hmmm. I dont think I can pull of Hepburn Honey but Love Bite I can do something with!
A beautiful nude. I still haven’t had the opportunity to swatch any CT. I see that Nordstrom as a set off three mini CT Lipsticks which seems like a great way to test a couple of shades. Only thing is they are so tiny – the three together make up a full size but the price is higher than a full size so maybe not the greatest value. But a nice gift. 🙂
Love Bite looks beautiful on you, Christine. I am itching to buy something from Charlotte Tilbury, and I think my first purchase is going to be Love Bite! I have NARS Annabella, but it doesn’t hurt to add another bright orange red to my growing red lipstick collection. 🙂
Wow, just the kind of shades I like <3 so creamy. You look great in them. I like that the first one leans brown and the red leans orange <3
Ooo I like them both! Honey Kissing looks like it’ll make a great nude for a lot of complexions.
