The nailpolish…!
Hope you will be swatching these, Christine, so curious.
Ditto!
Ooooh can’t wait to see that nail polish in action!
Those eyeliners look gorgeous.
The nailpolish could be interesting, but I’m not sure. It’s hard to see from a photo of a bottle. The psncils looks good, I will swatch the coppery and the pink-purple one.
Sweet star is pretty but it’s not blowing me away like the Chanel polishes often do.
Wow, speaking sarcastically, Chanel really went all out.
Agreed! And what with those names?
That’s so not Chanel…
This is their holiday collection for 2014 http://www.chanel.com/en_US/fragrance-beauty/HOLIDAY-2014-COLLECTION-138863
Yes, as Deborah says above, their actual holiday collection is much more extensive. The ‘Delights’ mini-collection is only a ‘holiday’ release for the US; it was originally the Fashion’s Night Out release (which tends to be more off-beat, less traditional) in other parts of the world. Given that, I am not sure it will have wide accessibility other than via Chanel.com – in the UK it was only available from Chanel boutiques and a few other select locations such as Harrods.
The pencils look promising. I hope you’ll be swatching these too!
I believe Sweet Star was released at either the MET Ball or the CFDA’s this year. I’m glad we’ll be getting a mass market shot at it. I was worried it was only going to be the “elite”.
This mini-collection was the Fashion’s Night Out release elsewhere in the world, which had very limited distribution, so I doubt it will go on wide release in the US, unless you are counting Chanel.com as mass market. So if you want it, you probably should order from the website (I wish there was a Chanel website you could order from in the UK, I had to phone one of the big London stores and get the polish posted to me – is this what you call a charge-send? – but at least I got it!)
I don’t own any Chanel polish. This one look pretty.
I really want to see all these in action! I hope you’re reviewing them, Chirstine! ^_^
I wish they’d done an eyeliner the with the colour and iridescence of the nail polish! I’m interested in the other colours too but that was my first thought when I saw this post.
Hi Christine, I hope the eyeliners get a good review. I just ordered all three of them from the Chanel website. It seems to be the only place that has them right now. They look beautiful. Hopefully they will perform well.
At first glance, that nail polish and the garnet eyeliners seem like a perfect addition to my collection. 🙂
Sweet Star looks so pretty!
