Chanel Spring 2012 Makeup: Harmonie de Printemps

Chanel Spring 2012 Makeup: Harmonie de Printemps

From the break of dawn to the descent of twilight, skies reveal an enchanting array of hues with the arrival of Spring. Inspired by this brilliant seasonal change, Peter Philips, Creative Director of Chanel Makeup, infused glowing, sunlit colour into the Spring 2012 Makeup Collection, HARMONIE DE PRINTEMPS. Subtle gradations of rose, coral and peach sculpt the face, giving it a soft radiance, while rich garnets and vivid pinks dress the lips.

Blush Horizon de Chanel / Glowing Blush Harmony ($58.00) (Limited Edition)

In one elegant compact, five pink and peach tones mimic the luminous hues of sunset. This unique powder blush lends itself to multiple effects: blended together, the harmony is ideal for sculpting and accentuating the natural contours of the face. Using just the pink shades creates a fresh, youthful flush, while on their own, the peach tones produce a warm, sun-bronzed glow.

I went on the website to review my cart (I’ve been adding a few things through out the week!) and I saw this last night! So far I added the blush and quad in my cart! I just want to see your review. I always take your reviews into consideration before deciding on a product!
Christine, have you received any of the products? I think I want to see swatches of the quad more than anything.

This gorgeous and flattering collection of soft, warm spring colors is already out and available for on-line and at counter purchase in many stores. Don’t wait until January to look for it! Swatches of the collection can be seen on Charlestongirl’s blog, Best Things in Beauty. There are no off beat colors in this collection, just a bouquet of spring flowers. The name of the quad, Éclosion, is complex and perfectly appropriate for a spring collection with all its connotations of blossoming, birth, and transformation. This collection is going to fly off shelves.

I agree. I’m a fan of Chanel and each collection in the past usually wowed me. Not this time though. In fact I’m more looking forward to Dior’s Spring collection instead.

Chanel usually makes flawless promotional pictures. But this time, it’s a fail.
Everything is badly detoured, especially the model! It just looks photoshopped, which means it’s badly done.

This collection looks look nice and interesting though, especially the blush. 🙂

The blush is lovely! I want it 🙁
It kinda reminds me of Guerlain’s Blush G in terms of colours/design but when I saw this one swatched, it had much less peach.

it looks like they have taken exactly the same image from last years spring collection, reversed her head and stuck it onto a childs body. seriously Chanel this is the best you can do??! i find that really off putting, such a bad image.
