On September 8th, CHANEL will debut its preview of Les Jeans De CHANEL, the highly-anticipated nail collection created exclusively by Peter Philips, Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup, at Fashion’s Night Out events across the country and on chanel.com.
Always creating trends that others follow, Peter has developed a trio of blue lacquers, inspired by quintessence of casual chic: denim. A gradation of three shades, the colours range from deep to medium to very pale blue, evocative of the different styles and shades of one of the world’s largest wardrobe staples.
- LE VERNIS: Blue Rebel, Blue Boy and Coco Blue.
LES JEANS DE CHANEL will be sold exclusively in CHANEL boutiques and on chanel.com September 8th through the end of the month.

Honestly, blue nailpolish is not a new trend. Funny statement in the press release. These are pretty. Not sure they are splurge worthy though. I’m still enjoying my crazy splurge for Peridot, Granite and Morning Rose.
Aye, I am looking the colours and keep thinking ‘ughhhh how 80’s!’ I think I’ll be waiting to see some good quality You Tube vids before I pass final judgement.
I’ve always been a fan of Chanel nail polishes and the colors look lovely but I think I have to see swatches of the colors because I think I might have the same colors from another brand.

I love this collection! Jeans will always be a fashion staple, and what better way to incorporate denim into beauty than by creating a line of polishes! These colors look gorgeous in the bottle, and I can’t wait for Christine to do a review on them!

wow! these colors look great. i generally am not a fan of blue vernis but these look really wearable at first glance. looking forward to seeing some swatches. =)

I just had a little anticipatory nailpolish orgasm! As a collector of blues, yes there are undoubtedly dupes and I undoubtedly own them already. But I’m a sucker for Chanel … yeah, can’t wait!

I love Coco Blue, it looks like it would be really cute with Last Friday Night from the Katy Perry OPI collection over it. I’ll definitely be checking these out 🙂

I *thought* the Chanel SA I spoke to said that they’re rolling out new formulas of plenty of their products, and not necessarily with any fanfare. I can’t remember if nail polish was one of them – but they have to be aware this stuff chips like cheap pottery, right?
I love the look of Coco Blue. Hope it is just as nice, if not better, in person.

Hmmm, I love blue polish but between Illamasqua and Rescue Beauty Lounge I’ve got dupes of this Chanel lineup.
I am a huge fan of Chanel nail polishes and I am sick to my stomach with anticipation for this collection…..I will definitely order my set…I Love It, Love it!!!!!

I’m underwhelmed – maybe they’ll look more interesting on the nail than in the bottle? As it stands, they look like three fairly mundane, dupable colors – and the only reason to buy Chanel is because of the unique colors!
one name should be simply “blue jean”

Ski Teal We Drop by Opi looks very similar to Blue Rebel, and Opi has a better formula. Coco Blue dupes I see *everywhere* and someone in the comments has already named a dupe for Blue Boy.
Not impressed, really.
I went by the bloor st. Chanel store yesterday, and asked at the holt’s counter on Bloor and they said Canada wasn’t getting these! 🙁 Last year both stores sold the khaki and SOHO collections… What’s different this time Chanel?
My favorite one is definitely Blue Boy!
