Chanel Contour Brun (34) Stylo Ombre et Contour Eyeshadow Liner Khol ($34.00 for 0.02 oz.) is a deep chocolate brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was slightly drier than other pencils in the range, though it didn’t drag or tug on my skin when I worked with it.
I just felt like the edges and product needed to be softened with a fingertip or a fluffy brush or else they looked a bit ragged (more apparent in the single-pass swatch). There was enough slip so it applied fluidly and went on evenly. It had opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, which stayed on well for nine hours before showing signs of fading.

Chanel Contour Mauve (36) Stylo Ombre et Contour Eyeshadow Liner Khol ($34.00 for 0.02 oz.) is a muted, medium, rosy brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage in a single stroke, which made it easy to use as an eyeliner as well as an all-over shade on the lid.
The texture was smooth, creamy without being too emollient, and blended out nicely along the edges but wasn’t something sheered out a lot (which I imagine works fine for some but there may be a few who wanted to use it as a sheerer wash). It wore well for nine hours before fading a bit.

I feel like the mauve liner is super unique!
Contour Mauve seems really intriguing as an eyeliner color! Might be nice on a pale gal like me!

I like the mauve a lot. I don’t think I’ve ever seen mauve eyeliner before.
This dark brown is a favorite liner color, but all the dupes are shadows, rather than liners and the line did look rather thick. So I am once again mystified about the purpose of this product.
