Chanel Caractere & Tendresse Eye & Blush Quad Swatches
Chanel released two Eye & Blush Palettes for spring/summer. They’re limited edition, and each palette includes four shades with one shade being more shimmery, like a highlighter, and the other three shades between soft matte and satin. Here are swatches!

Are the pans blush-sized or traditional Chanel eyeshadow sized? If the latter, I would think it would be tricky trying to use these as blushes (and they wouldn’t last as long as traditional blushes). I’m confused. These (like the earlier Tom Ford shadows you showed) just aren’t colours I wear on my eyes.
They are more blush sized, but I don’t think they’re quite as large as the individual blushes – definitely much larger than eyeshadows 🙂
Thanks for this. I was only able to see Caractere in person, and it was too dark for my tones. I’m on the fence about Tendresse; it could be useful and convenient for travel if it works for blushes, highlight, and eyeshadow. It’s still on my list to see in person.
Glad to help! 🙂
Hmm – this is interesting – so much depends on how the four shades suit your individual skintone and preferences – I’m not quite sold on them.
Wow. That is a completely unimpressive color story. I can’t help but wonder who comes up with this stuff.
Tendresse is quite a pretty one, but for a pretty penny. Therefore, I’m going to need to see how it does in your review before letting myself fall too hard for it.
Besides, those TF Cherry quads are beckoning me like Sirens along the rocky coast…
I bought caractere and LOVE it. I have used the shimmer as a highlight and a couple of the other colors as blushes. My sister used the whole palette for an eye + cheek look and it was very pretty. There is not much fallout with these products so you do kind of have to work at it , but it means lovely depth/build up for a natural look. I’m very tempted to buy tendresse. Eagerly awaiting your review!
I’m sooo hoping these get bad reviews!!! I’m having to use a lot of restraint from buying these both!
These look really interesting to me-i ordered Tendress… coming soon!
I tried them both and returned them. I love the idea but the color story is just odd for spring and summer and I had to work too hard to get them to work for my skin tone and coloring for the price. I knew they were not something I would reach for frequently. I’ll look forward to your review.
I just bought the caractère one. Love the shades.
