Gotta admit … Chanel sure knows how to put together a chic compact. Also, I’m very attracted to a set that doesn’t have any metallic golds or shimmery jewel tones; this is understated for an item considered “holiday” — so much like!

Not going to get it, obviously, as I have these colors five times over, but I feel more dignified just looking at it. 😉

Hmmm . . . I wonder how similar to Candeur et Expérience this is going to be. C et E is one of my favorites. This new one looks like a lighter (Duh! Légèreté) version of the same concept.

I’m feeling the same way, Mariella. Even though I don’t wear my EdD as much as I would like to, it is still in my top 5 favorite e/s palettes of all time! A b/up would give me the mental freedom to wear it far more frequently, because I wouldn’t fear running out, lol.

Yes it is reminiscent of Candeur et Expérience (which I love) but this red seems cooler and deeper then the rusty-brown red in C&E. The other shades too seem not as warm as C&E. Very curious to see the swatches.

I did a double take when I first saw this; the similarity to C&E seems uncanny, initially. Upon closer inspection, the red is indeed cooler and the browns are lighter. I’m happy with my C&E so I’ll pass.

I love the fact that it’s a quad. I wish more brands would release small quads. But with all the releases out there, I am just bored and this is nothing special in terms of its color offerings. It’s a perfect neutral-warm set. If you’re running low, great time to replace it. Otherwise… yawn.

This is quite pretty and I do like the colour selection. I wish the dark brown were slightly more neutral or even cooler but with the other warmer shades it probably wouldn’t appeal except to someone like me. I am anxiously awaiting swatches. I love my Chanel quads.
