my answer: They can be hard to keep really clean (or just more tedious to keep clean, I guess), but I like the often thicker consistency of potted lip balms.

Prescriptions for Differin and a topical antibiotic (clindamycin) completely changed the health of my skin for the better. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion (and other anti-acne products) are great for spot treatments. Sunscreen in general!
