my answer: The SMELL! They're often SO strong and cloying that it makes it hard for me to use them. I love that they extend time between a wash if you don't have time/are lazy.

I usually mix two shades year-round, but it might be more of one and less of the other depending on how much I got outdoors--admittedly, I'm mostly inside!
