That is really tough! I'm not someone who would want to wear a rich red every day, so I'd have to go for something subtler, maybe Guerlain Gillian or Gems -- I love Gems but it is still a brighter shade (plus, very shimmery)...
Red lipstick is totally classic to me, and I think that you can feel really powerful when you wear the right red. I’d love to see more red lipsticks on the market with a greater variety in finishes.

I like that you can often get more for your money - so value sets and kits! I'm not so much into the mega palettes, but some of the palettes you find during the holiday season are really nice.
