How do you test out a new perfume/scent?

I make sure that I’m not using any other scented products that would interfere, and then I apply it about 45 minutes post-shower and take notes throughout the day about what notes are prominent or have weakened and how much it is projecting at various intervals.

They’re almost always a product that performs well for one but not both, so I’d rather buy a unitasker in this instance. It’s hard to get something that’s hydrating/emollient for lips that doesn’t then slide off on cheeks!

Do you have any bad beauty habits that have been (or were) hard to break?

I used to be really bad about gnawing on my nails (maybe 8-10 years ago), and I know it took awhile to stop. I still catch myself here and there when I’m stressed, but luckily once I catch myself, I stop and it’s not hard.
