What look do you admire on others but can’t (or won’t) wear yourself?
There’s nothing I wouldn’t necessarily wear with respect to color/style, since I could always wash it off if I didn’t like it, but I don’t have the patience to do really avant garde looks – like intricate face masks or the like – but I absolutely love seeing the techniques behind them.

Drugstore Brands
They’ve come a long way since I’ve started using makeup,
but there are still some products that are lacking (I think powder eyeshadow and blush are the two that immediately come to mind–there are some winners but a lot of losers!). I wish there was a better selection online (or was more consistent)
as it can be hard to track down limited edition products in person (at least for me!).

There aren’t too many that I really remember getting discontinued since becoming immersed in the community. I definitely miss Tarina Tarantino being a brand, since the formulations were quite good.

I definitely have, but it has been quite awhile based on what I can remember! I think the last time must have had to do with a launch and not waking up in time for it, lol!

What was your last makeup application fail? What went wrong? How did you fix it?
I was trying to create a brighter eye look using a lot of matte shades, and they just did not layer and blend well together – I had patches of product missing in my crease. I couldn’t fix it, so I had to start over entirely and go with a different set of shades and layout.
