I will keep paying for La Mer’s The Soft Fluid, which is apparently $140 now (choke, gag, jaw on the floor), because the formula is really exceptional and I can afford to do so presently.
I know I’ve bought some Cle de Peau cheek products in the past, so those were probably nearly $90 or more… I’m not particularly comfortable at that price point, though! I feel like ~$50 is a personal maximum unless it’s really special/the perfect shade and formula kind of thing.

Pat McGrath’s Motherships at $128 a pop are the more expensive palettes I routinely purchase/would continue to purchase without batting an eye, but I don’t think I’d be willing to shell out that much for just any brand. I think $60 or less is a good top end overall.
Urban Decay comes to mind… they have had a very inconsistent release schedule, and what they have released has left me confused.
Pat McGrath! I love some of those formulas so much, but this year’s launches have left me underwhelmed (not necessarily from a quality standpoint).
