What research do you do before purchasing a product?

What research do you do before purchasing a product?

I’m going to generalize and just speak about products in general, since I don’t do much research before buying beauty products since I tend to buy newly released products for review! I like to look at reviews on retailer websites, often using places like Fakespot to try and see how reliable the...

What’s been your go-to base/foundation combination lately?

La Mer The Soft Fluid mixed with Natasha Denona Face Glow — pretty much ultra-dewy and looks best in person (I find on camera, all that shine makes me look more textured everywhere vs. smooth like a more matte base!) and lasts a surprising amount of time.

When is longevity important to you?

When is longevity important to you?

It’s important in products that are harder to re-do on the fly, like re-applying a gloss is pretty easy, but having to reapply blush or eyeshadow? No way! I want my eyeshadow/mascara/brow products and base/complexion/face products to last well for eight to nine hours and fade “nicely” from...

Rant & Rave: Setting Sprays

Tell us what you love and hate about...

Setting Sprays

I spend most of the day indoors or going from car to one air conditioned place, so I don’t find that they’re part of my daily routine. They’re useful for when I’m going to spend more time outside or if I have really, really long day elsewhere.
