Does your makeup reflect your mood?

Sometimes! I think if I’m feeling lower energy or am finding it harder to self-motivate, I am actually more likely to reach for a palette that I really love to wear for photos vs. something new (I’ll just remove and redo it with something new after the photos).

Matte Blushes

I love them in theory, but I tend to prefer blushes that are satin or more shimmery as I find they are more forgiving and easier to apply–they’re more blendable and are less prone to reacting to any natural moisture on my skin!

Eyeshadow shader style brushes–they’re small, slightly stubby, densely packed and a little rounded at the edge. I’ve worked my way through an assortment of them over the years, but I still find that I can do all of my eye makeup with that one tool if I need to!
