The first five powders were really lovely, but the last shade was incredibly difficult to blend out, and the deeper color of it made it glaringly obvious!

Savannah Love #1

Savannah Love #1 is a light-medium pink with warm, yellow undertones and a fine, pearly sheen. It had medium, buildable pigmentation with a soft, silky, and finely-milled texture that kicked up a little excess product in the pan but did not appear dry or dusty applied to the skin. The powder applied well to bare skin and gave a luminous finish that wasn’t frosted or overtly shimmery. It wore well for eight hours on me.

Savannah Love #2

Savannah Love #2 is a medium brown with warm, yellow undertones and a fine, golden shimmer. It had good pigmentation that was buildable to opaque coverage with just a smidgen more product layered on top. The powder was soft, smooth, and dense enough that it wasn’t powdery in the pan at all but still blended out easily on the skin. The more I blended out the cheek color, the more glowing the finish became. It lasted for eight and a half hours before fading on me.

Savannah Love #3

Savannah Love #3 is a medium-dark pink with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. The color payoff was mostly opaque, while the texture felt smooth, finely-milled, and silky to the touch. The blush blended out easily along the edges and kept its intensity on the skin, even when wore at sheerer coverage, it still looked similar to the pan color. On me, the blush wore well for nine hours before fading.

Savannah Love #4

Savannah Love #4 is a light, peachy-beige with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had opaque color coverage paired with a very silky, blendable consistency that sat beautifully on the skin. The color is rather light, so it may not show up on all skin tones, but on my skin tone (light-medium), it gave a subtle color as it appeared to darken slightly a few minutes after initial application. It could be used to diffuse, mattify, or soften other shades in the palette. This shade wore well for eight hours on me.

Savannah Love #5

Savannah Love #5 is a muted, medium-dark reddish brown with subtle, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had good pigmentation that applied evenly on the skin, and the color blended out without much work. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and smooth without being too soft that it became dusty in the pan. It lasted for eight and a half hours on me.

Savannah Love #6

Savannah Love #6 is a dark brown with subtle, warm undertones and a soft shimmer. The texture was drier and looser, and it did not feel much like any of the shades in this palette nor did it feel like the formula used in other versions of this palette. It had good pigmentation, which was buildable to opaque coverage, but it was difficult to blend out. I experimented with application, and the best results I could achieve were when I used a fan brush and an ultra-light hand, then used a clean blush to diffuse the edges. The color lasted for eight and a half hours before fading on me.

All six of the powders were soft, finely-milled, and blendable on the skin with pigmentation varied from medium to opaque (but the ones that weren’t richly pigmented were still buildable) that lasted from eight to nine hours on me.

Tropical Sunset #1

Tropical Sunset #1 is a bright pop of medium orange with warm undertones and a semi-matte to satin finish. It had medium, buildable pigmentation with a soft, silky texture that felt finely-milled and just kicked up the tiniest amount of excess powder. The blush blended out easily on the cheeks and lasted for eight and a half hours.

Tropical Sunset #2

Tropical Sunset #2 is a muted, medium-dark gold with warm undertones and fine pearl. It’s an interesting shade because it’s lighter than a typical brown but nowhere near as shimmery as most gold-colored powders. The consistency was incredibly and silky and smooth, just a touch dusty in the pan, and applied easily to bare skin with effortless blending. It had good color coverage that lasted for eight hours on me. It did seem to darken slightly on my skin after I applied it–slightly coppery compared to the swatch.

Tropical Sunset #3

Tropical Sunset #3 is a rich, medium-dark fuchsia pink with very subtle, cool undertones and fine, iridescent pink pearl. It had semi-opaque, buildable color payoff with a soft, slightly dusty texture in the pan. The blush did not appear dry or dusty on the skin, and it blended out with little effort (more effort than the other shades, but for this type of shade, impressive). It stayed on well for eight and a half hours.

Tropical Sunset #4

Tropical Sunset #4 is a medium brown with warm, yellowish undertones and a natural, matte finish. It had good color coverage that applied evenly and smoothly to the skin. The powder was dense, soft, and smooth, while remaining blendable. This shade wore nicely for eight hours on me.

Tropical Sunset #5

Tropical Sunset #5 is a soft, light-medium beige with a hint of rosiness and warmth paired with a satin finish. It had excellent pigentation, while the consistency was smooth, silky, and dense enough not to be powdery or dusty in the pan but still very blendable on the skin. It just barely showed on my skin tone, but I thought it worked well to layer over the more intense orange and pink blushes to tone them down, if desired. It wore well for eight hours on me.

Tropical Sunset #6

Tropical Sunset #6 is a muted, medium-dark coppery brown with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had good color payoff that applied evenly and smoothly to the cheeks. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and blendable, and it became more luminous as I blended the powder on my cheeks (but never appeared shimmery). The color started to fade after eight and a half hours of wear.

By Terry Light & Tan Vibes Sun Designer Palette ($82.00 for 0.53 oz.) includes six shades that can be used as highlighters, blushes, and/or bronzers. As I mentioned in my review of Tan & Flash Cruise, there was a lighter/mote muted option, and this is it. I had the same experience with this palette as I did with the other: I was impressed by the softness, blendability, and finish of these on the skin–they’re very easy to use and diffuse, and the finish is glowing without emphasizing pores. Despite being very soft and finely-milled, they’re not really powdery or dusty; they seem to have a decent amount of binder so they adhere well and don’t get messy in the pan. The wear varied from eight to eight and a half hours across the six shades.

Light & Tan Vibes #1 is a medium, golden bronze with warm undertones and a fine, frosted shimmer. It had good color payoff paired with an incredibly smooth, silky texture that blended out effortlessly. The shimmer was just fine enough that it didn’t emphasize pores to my eye, but it gave a noticeable sheen. This shade wore well for eight hours on me. Light & Tan Vibes #2 is a softer, medium pink-coral with warm undertones and fine, gold frost that gives it a luminous finish. I think this is a shade that will look pinker and brighter on fairer and cooler skin tones, and then a bit warmer and more coral-like on warmer skin tones (like it does on me). The texture was soft, silky, and very lightly dusty, but it blended out beautifully on the skin and sat well without emphasizing pores or the skin’s natural texture. It had good color payoff, though this is a color that tends to get lost on my skin tone as once blended out, it just adds a sheen without pronounced color–on lighter skin tones, you might get more warmth and on darker skin tones, it might highlight more obviously. The texture had the same smooth, silky, and finely-milled as the other shades, and it was easy to blend out on the skin. Again, it’s so close to my actual skin tone that it is hard to show it off in a full face photo–in the skin swatch, you can just barely see it. It doesn’t do much on my skin tone, but I could see it adding light warmth on very fair skin tones or helping to even out some complexions. The texture was finely-milled and soft, very blendable and sat well on the skin. It was hard to see the product on me, but based on what I could assess, it seemed to last eight hours. Light & Tan Vibes #5 is a muted, medium rosy brown with warm undertones and a satin sheen. I found it to have a more noticeable glow on the skin than the lighter tan (#4) shade. It ended up being a subdued, natural-looking bronzing element on my skin tone, and I can see why it would work a treat for fairer complexions (the palette is designed for lighter skin tones, while the other palette was designed for darker skin tones). The texture was a little dusty, but it didn’t look powdery on the skin and blended out without immediately sheering out. On me, the color wore well for eight hours. It had good color payoff, though it was the least pigmented in the palette, paired with a fairly soft, smooth texture. Oddly, it was a little firm in the pan compared to the other shades. I wouldn’t describe it as hard to use or to blend out, just that it wasn’t as effortless as most shades in the palettes were, so the difference was more noticeable as a result. By Terry Hyaluronic Sheer Nude Hydra-Balm ($36.00 for 0.10 oz.) is supposed to hydrate, “fill in wrinkles and fine lines,” while also smoothing and “boost[ing] volume.” It is a tinted lip balm, in simpler terms, with semi-sheer color coverage, glossy finish, and designed to keep your lips looking and feeling better. Overall, the formula is moderately hydrating and comfortable to wear with a creamy consistency that has enough slip that it doesn’t cling, but it doesn’t glide right off the lips either. I didn’t notice an increase in volume, and it didn’t seem like it helped to fill in lines, but the hydration did linger beyond the initial application. The formula is rose-scented and a slight, almost perfume-y taste. They’re also shorter-wearing, which isn’t a real surprise, but you’ll likely need to reapply throughout the day to maintain the color.

It had semi-sheer color coverage that applied somewhat evenly. Though the formula is supposed to help fill in fine lines, it seemed weakest in that aspect, and the very light color of this shade settled into lip lines as it wore. By Terry Innocent Kiss (2) Hyaluronic Sheer Nude Hydra-Balm ($36.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a soft, peach with a hint of pink and lighter beige shimmer. It had semi-sheer color payoff with noticeable translucency, so if your natural lip colors are darker, you may find this looks a bit different. This shade yielded semi-sheer color coverage that was very even and smooth–it looked like a stain but still had the balm-like shine. It lasted for two hours on me, which was the major downside, but the slightly thinner consistency (compared to other shades) kept it from having color that settled into lip lines. It had sheer color coverage–the least pigmented of the five–with a glossy finish and comfortable, hydrating wear. On me, it lasted for two hours and tended to sit in lines.
