NORDSTROM is having a mascara promotion where when you pick three mascaras, you’ll get one free, and the promotion is today only (5/23). You can mix and match mascaras, and the promotion includes brands like Chanel, Dior, Giorgio Armani, YSL and so on. (It’s the equivalent of saving 33% on your order of three, if you purchase three at the same price.) Keep in mind that like all promotions like this, the lowest priced mascara will be the free one!
This is a really great deal if you can work it into your budget. I wound up saving almost $80 and am stocked for at least a year of mascara! I Got 3 Chanel Le volume and 3 Tom Ford extreme. .A tube of each free! I missed it last year because i didn’t want to spend that much at once and kicked myself once I calculated the savings.So, I marked it in my calendar-happy girl knowing I am stocked on my fave mascaras! 🙂
LOL, you are making me want to try Tom Ford Extreme. It HAS to be good to buy three tubes in one go!
I purposely bought one a couple of months ago so I could see if I liked it that much for this event. I always have been loyal to Lancome. But Tom Ford is my fave. The Chanel is a close second. A lot of time I layer one over the other. I like the length and intensity of TF and the way Chanel feathers.But,both are outstanding formulas Imo.

I’m glad to hear you are having some good days. hopefeully they start outnumbering the not good days soon! Honestly, I received a sample of Le Volume and really loved it! Ihave never tried the other so I really can’t compare them.
Aww, Nicole.. You are so sweetly kind to say that. It really means a lot me. I hope so as well! Today began quite rough but can always turn around! I understand your love for the Chanel! Once it works, why stop?! I’m glad you have one that you really love! Inimitable used to be my favorite! My lashes are extremely long though, top and bottom. They look fake. I know, right? Pity. I’m grateful and take great care of them but when I found Guerlain Maxi Lash, one coat was an effortless perfection in mascara formulation for me! I decided to try one of the many samples of Dior Primer one day and it actually helped from my lashes making a mess in my eye area upon application of mascara! Who knew? Now my problem is finding salvation for my lower lashes. They brush my cheeks and I’ve tried everything waterproof as well as waterproof coating, and no luck! I don’t want a mess, I want a solution! I’ve reached out yet no one can help me. Yet. I’m not complaining because oh sad for me they’re long, but be star they are and I want to celebrate without mess! If you have any advice, I’m all grateful ears! 🙂 and if you do get a chance to try an Inimatable.. I’m eager to hear what you feel! Hi Lotus. My lashes are long. But,I it certainly sounds as if yours are longer. But there was a time when my mascara was constantly smudging into my under eye concealer. I found Clinique bottom lash mascara. It actually works pretty well. I do find I need to replace it more often than every 3 mos if I’m using it daily. It tends to head to clumpy town. But,it is only $10, so, its doable. I can see you loving Guerlain’s Maxi lash . It was a go to of mine for a while. This seems to be the one area where I prefer drugstore brands. I just finished a Diorshow Iconic Overcurl that I received as a gift. I was totally underwhelmed – ditto with the Lancôme mascaras. I’m currently trying the Maybelline Lash Sensational and it’s pretty good. My faves are the Loreal Telescopic and Voluminous Million Lashes mascara. Looking forward to reading others higher end recommendations.
I think you can great mascara both high/low-end, but I think in general, mascara is a category where it is harder to tell the difference between the two! Mascara is an area where a lot of people save and go drugstore vs. blush or foundation.
