Buxom Runaway Full Bodied Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.13 oz.) is described as a “rosy chestnut.” It is a rich, deepened plummy red with a glossy shine. MAC Sheer Plum is browner, less red. MAC Glamourdaze is less red, more plum. Chanel Imperial is slightly lighter and has some shimmer. See comparison swatches.

Runaway was rich with full color coverage in nearly a single stroke. The consistency is slightly thick (but not gummy or heavy), very creamy, and easy to apply. The formula sits really well on the lips and gives lips a plumper look because of the coverage and finish. I’ve really liked how nice Buxom’s Full Bodied lipsticks feel on, and they wear exceptionally well (though to be fair, all the shades I’ve tried so far are also darker/brighter shades that generally wear better than say a light pink or beige), with Runaway wearing well for five and a half hours.  It was nicely hydrating, and the lipstick had no scent or taste.

I love to wear this type of colour for day wear in the fall. I may have to add this one to the list. I have a similar lipstick colour by Rimmel which has been sitting in my stash for ages and is now only a little nub. This could be a fairly close dupe.

Ooh, what a gorgeous yellow/brown-red! I could never pull off a shade like this (not even a forgiving glossy finish can save me from something so warm), but I LOVE it on you.

I have to live vicariously through you for all the best warm reds, in case you hadn’t noticed 😛 If I can’t wear it, then I’m going to make darn sure that I can at least stare at it for a good few minutes!
