Bobbi Brown Soft Nude Rich Lip Color

Bobbi Brown Soft Nude Rich Lip Color ($22.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as a “light, nude brown.” It doesn’t read that way to me–I would describe it as a rosy brown. If I wanted to stretch that, perhaps a rosy brown nude, but I don’t know if I’d use the word “light” to describe this. I was expecting more of a soft, peachy-beige kind of color.

Nonetheless, it’s rosy brown in the tube, swatch, and when worn. It delivers opaque color coverage with little product, and it has a creamy finish with a subtle shine. MAC Gem of Roses is a touch pinker. MAC Impressive is a little browner. Bobbi Brown Heather Pink looks very similar on.

The texture is creamy but lightweight, and the wear comes in at five hours. Bobbi Brown’s Rich Lip Colors are scent- and taste-free. This is one of my favorite formulas for creamy, semi-matte lipsticks, because it’s moisturizing, longer-wearing, and opaque in color (which is a personal preference!).

Thank you so much for mentioning this lipstick is scent and taste free, I had to return a beautiful Chanel lipstick this week because the scent was of roses. It was horrible to me and I was allergic also.It was my first time trying a Chanel lipstick. I may try Bobbi Brown lipstick now.

If Gem of Roses is slightly pinker than this, and it was slightly pinker than Mademoiselle, does that mean Soft Nude and Mademoiselle are close dupes?

Hi Christine, are you sure that this is a permanent shade? On the UK and US websites it says that Soft Nude is a limited edition shade. It’s a shame if it is, because it looks like a perfect everyday shade. It’s sold out everywhere I’ve looked in the UK. Thanks!

Lovely color! Tarte’s 24/7 lip sheer in Wednesday seems like an exact dupe of this. I’m wearing it right now! It’s only $16 and has SPF 15 so I really like to wear it during the summer although it’s a gorgeous year-round color. It’s a little bit more sheer but it layers easily and looks good both ways.

Wow!!! This color is perfect!!!!
I always fall in love with Bobbi Brown lipsticks because of the soft and moisturizing texture! Soft Nude will hopefully be a new addition to my collection!

This is just the color I’m looking for!!! I like it so much but I don’t see this color on Bobbi Brown’s webside. Does it mean that it has been sold out or it’s a limited edition???

I just found this on the Barneys New York website. I bought one and went back to try and buy another (realizing if I found it FINALLY I should invest in another) and its out of stock. I hope this means I got their last one for now (and I dont get an email message about it being out of stock)
The color (from what Ive read) is ABSOLUTELY fabulous! Im olive skinned and yet I have pinky-brown lips and Ive been searching FOREVERRR for a nude lip color.
Ive tried Honeysuckle from BB and while I liked it a lot, it is more of a tan/peachy nude. So here’s hoping the pinky-brown nude of Soft Nude will be much better!
LOVE YOUR WEBSITE!! Thanks for the info!
