The Sultry Season: Bobbi Brown Raisin Lip Color
Bobbi Brown Raisin Lip Color ($22.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a muted rusted red-brown. It’s described as a “rich plum brown,” but it’s so hard for me to see the plum in shades like this. Once you tell me, I feel like maybe I can see it, but then maybe I’m just trying too hard! Raisin is an opaque shade with excellent color coverage and feel–very smooth and clings without pulling moisture out of lips. It has a slight glossiness to it but no real shimmer. It’s also scent- and taste-free!
Oh, and psst, it’s a dead ringer for Chanel’s Imperial Rouge Allure Laque in color (doesn’t have the fine gold shimmer, but color-wise…)!

Wow. Love this colour! It reminds me of Cover Girl Outlast in Canyon, which is the same sort of hard to describe muted brownish-peachy-red-pink-rust. A great colour that suits almost anybody – in fact I get a TON of compliments every time I wear it. I’ve been looking out for a similar shade in lipstick form, so I’ll definitely be picking up Brown Raisin.
Love this warm & rich shade …. close to the lipstick colour I wear most often which is Shesido #2.
Gorgeous color although, like you, I see absolutely no raisin/brown in it!!!…If anything, it has some pink in it and a corally tinge.

I am in love with this color. Name anything Raisin and I’ll buy it. I don’t know why because I hate actual raisins, but it’s the reddish-brownish shade that I love so much especially in the autumn months.

i’ve been searching for forever for a shade that matches my Mum’s old lipstick, which she still keeps even tho its been used right down to the core! so i really want to replace that lipstick for her 😀
