Bobbi Brown Cabana Corals Collection

Bobbi Brown Cabana Corals Collection:  A Little Lip Color

Bobbi Brown Cabana Corals Collection includes two new shades of Lip Color (Cabo Coral — a warm pink coral; Guava — a medium tone nectar) and three new shades of Metallic Lip Color (Calypso Glaze — a golden pink; Coral Glaze — a nude nectar; and Coral Reef — a medium pink coral). All five new lipstick shades are $22 each with 0.12 oz. of product per lipstick. From Bobbi Brown’s website, Cabo Coral and Coral Glaze are limited edition.

I received three of them to test-drive, and my favorite was definitely Cabo Coral, but I like my lipsticks creamy and pigmented… so it wasn’t even much of a contest!

  • Cabo Coral is a creamy, richly pigmented orange-coral with soft, frosty sheen. Totally full coverage once applied to lips (my first ultra pigmented Bobbi Brown lipstick!).
  • Coral Reef is a semi-sheer orange-coral with a shimmery, frosty sheen. Applied to lips, it’s a very light coral and more of a golden shimmer-sheen.
  • Coral Glaze is a more muted orange-coral in comparison to Coral Reef (but both are similar to each other). The shimmer-sheen in this one, once applied, is more muted and has a more champagne-coral feel.

Any of these catch your fancy?

I adore the color range of Bobbi Brown’s lipsticks… but they have a weird, chemical/plastic smell and taste that I can’t tolerate. It’s a shame 🙁

wow…Coral Reef and Coral Glaze look exactly the same on you…but Cabo Coral looks amazing on you! I love how it’s not a shocking bright coral color!

Hi!!

A little piece of advice, which are the must-have products from this collection?? Thank you! My skintone is similar to yours so besides Cabo Coral (I may have some similar lipsticks from MAC and Illamasqua) what other lipstick would you pick? Thank you!

Hey! I have the Cabo Coral pot rouge…is the cabo coral lipstick different enough to get that too. I also already got Fresh Salmon from Mac which is a very wearable coral. Oh and I enjoy the way the pot rouge feels on my lips and the coverage so I don’t need the lipstick because it would be a betty version formula wise but just if its a different color…hope that makes sense :/. I’ve always been drawn to corals and am glad that thats the trend this year so I have to stock up! Thanks!

Hmmm, I’m thinking I might need to own that Cabo Coral… it’s right up my alley and will be my first BB lip color. Thinking about that Coral Pot Rouge too… I love BB’s Pot Rouges!

Hi there, been following your blog just recently, and I love the fact that you actually put the pic of the product on your self. Which one of these color would you recommend for an asian medium complexion? I love all the colors and are still experimenting with colors. Thanks!! 🙂

The ‘Cabo Coral; looks very similar to the shade ‘Soft Coral’ that you had reviewed earlier. Would you say its Cabo Coral is more of a softer version and not as bright like the Soft Coral shade?

Cabo Coral looks very similar to Soft Coral, would you say Cabo Coral is lot more softer and not as bright as the Soft Coral Shade?
