Bite Beauty Watermelon Marg Daycation Whipped Blush Review & Swatches
Watermelon Marg
Bite Beauty Watermelon Marg Daycation Whipped Blush ($32.00 for 0.33 oz.) is a light, pinky lavender with iridescent micro-sparkle over a matte finish. The blush lacked dimension applied, despite the sparkle, as the underlying base was so flat–definitely not “natural-looking” as marketed.
The consistency felt like a whipped mousse, and it was very quick to dry down and even quicker to sheer out, which made building up coverage a real challenge. When I tried to build up product, it resulted in a patchier application overall, and it was very prone to lifting up base products. It lasted for six hours before fading a bit.

Formula Overview
$32.00/0.33 oz. - $96.97 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a "natural-looking finish" with a whipped feel that is "non-cakey" and "lasts all day." The pigmentation was described as a "buildable flush," though it was more semi-sheer and hard to build up as the formula very quick-drying and harder to blend out/layer up without creating patchiness or lifting up the initial layer (or worse, one's foundation).
The pearl in each shade seemed too large, so they contributed to patchiness and the product moving around without adhering evenly. It was one of the harder cream blushes to use in more recent memory. They showed signs of fading after six hours on my cheeks.
I found the wide and squat squeeze tube to be harder to dispense product, often getting a lot of air and having to really squeeze to get product out... and other times, a barely-there squeeze dispensed more product than needed!

I don’t get Bite Beauty. They made great lip products, but they seem to have largely dumped those in favor of other types of products that are sub-par. Stick with what you know best!
Yikes!
32 bucks USD.
For THAT.
You’d think makeup companies would be painfully aware how saturated the market is, and how sales have probably changed due to COVID…and they’re still giving us this.
Bite, please being back your original lip line and stick with what we all love (and what works…)
Oh dear oh dear….six hours before fading? Looks like it was faded from the get-go; there’s hardly any colour on your cheeks. I wish BITE would just got back to their wonderful old “bullet” style lipsticks. They were so wonderful. “Stick with what you know; stick with what you do well” – it’s not always bad advice!
Agreed! Not to mention their multisticks were sooo much better than these in terms of a cream blush formula.
This company has lost their minds.
Good grief, but this one hardly even shows up! And what I can see just doesn’t look appealing at all. Sad little blush.
Wow, this is even worse than the promo pics ๐ the shimmer/glitter is the 4th ingredient, seems a bit much! So weird to make such a matte product and then throw shimmer in it that doesnโt blend into the product
Ouch! I forgot about these. I thought the colors looked interesting but looks like a lot of companies had their QC folks working from home!
Wow. I knew I wasn’t excited for this concept but I didn’t expect it to be a solid F product. Bite has really lost their way.
It looked like they had some interesting colors, but that container seems like a pain in the butt to get all the product out of, and now the bad reviews. What the heck happened to Bite. Did they have a management change or something a couple years ago?
