Bite Beauty Sugarcane & Molasses Matte Crème Lip Crayons Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Sugarcane
Bite Beauty Sugarcane Matte Crème Lip Crayon ($24.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a light-medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a satin sheen. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer with a lightly creamy consistency that had moderate slip. The texture wasn’t the most favorable on the lips as some color pulled into my lip lines, particularly as the color wore on. The formula was lightweight, comfortable to wear, and hydrating over the four hours it lasted for.

Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon is supposed to be “long-wearing,” hydrating, and pigmented. It’s one of my favorite formulas for really pigmented, long-wearing, comfortable color that is more matte, though I wouldn’t describe them as a true or flat matte. There is a slight shine to them that wears down within an hour or so of wear (as you’d expect for most semi-matte to satin finish lipsticks). They come in a twist-up, large pencil format that makes it fairly easy to get precise edges and even coverage. The formula has a slightly herbal, lemony scent but no discernible taste to me.

Molasses
Bite Beauty Molasses Matte Crème Lip Crayon ($24.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark brown with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. The consistency was smooth, lightweight, and creamy, which made for comfortable application as the pencil glided across the lips without tugging. It yielded opaque coverage in a single layer that lasted well for four and a half hours on me. The formula felt moisturizing while worn.

Molasses is pretty!
It is!
I’m interested in trying this formula!!!!!
Let us know if you try it, Shannon!
Sugarcane is an obvious “no-go” for me, seeing as you had issues with it going lip-liney for you. Plus, it’s just too light.
Molasses, on the other hand, is the type of brown lipstick I tend towards! But having 2 tubes of MAC Royally Riotous, I’ll pass for now…one of those tubes has very noticeable usage! ?
Good call on passing 🙂
Not sure I’d wear either but they sure are pretty.
They are nice colors!
How would you compare the lip crayons to the Amuse Bouche lipsticks?
Also, molasses is a beautiful color on you!
They are thinner, have more slip.
Molasses looks good enough to eat 😀
Hahaha! 😉
I love Sugarcane!! This formula is so amazing – I’d love to give it a try the next time I’m in Sephora!
Happy to hear you’re enjoying the formula!
Molassas is a gorgeous shade!
It is 😀
These both come off a lot lighter than I was expecting! Both very pretty though!
They were!
Nice to see Bite putting out more colours in this formula. I love pencil products. I do like sugarcane, but I’m not a fan of slip
Sugarcane looks great with that eyeshadow:).
I love my WetnWikd ones started by trying one and ended up getting all shades I liked. Non drying and applies smooth. Pretty colors too! ❤️
