Bite Beauty Crianza Cashmere Lip Cream ($28.00 for 0.26 fl. oz.) is described as a “dark pink with red undertone.” It’s a brightened, medium-dark pink-red with subtle cool undertones (it almost looks warm-toned against my complexion, depending on the warmth of the light around me). Guerlain Insolence (144) (LE, $35.00) is lighter. Too Faced Jelly Bean (P, $21.00) is cooler-toned. Revlon Vivacious (120) (P, $8.99) is slightly cooler-toned. MAC Pleasure Bomb (LE, $16.00) is cooler-toned, more matte. Guerlain Provocative (863) (LE, $51.00) is warmer. MAC All Fired Up (P, $16.00) is warmer, matte. Urban Decay Catfight (P, $22.00) is warmer. MAC Party Parrot (LE, $16.00) is warmer. MAC Impassioned (P, $16.00) is lighter. Guerlain Gigi (P, $51.00) is similar. Guerlain Gourmandise (P, $49.50) is warmer. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

It had really rich, intense color payoff that went on smoothly, without settling into lip lines, and evenly. This formula wears really long and well on me, and with this shade, it wore nicely for six and a half hours and left a reddish stain behind that lingered for another hour or so. The one aspect that I don’t find holds true to how Bite Beauty positions the product is it having a matte finish–it has a noticeable shine for at least the first two hours of wear. The formula is comfortable to wear, and it was neither drying nor hydrating while worn. It has a slightly herbal scent but no discernible taste. I’ve reviewed a few shades from the formula previously (see them here), and I’d also like to mention that one of the six tubes I have leaked and had faulty packaging (see that review here).

So suppose I wanted to tone this down just a smidge, but keep the bold pinky-redness. I have UD Catfight, do you think there would be a way to blend them on the lip to nudge the neon factor here down just a smidge? If so, how do you go about actually blending them on the lip?

I love BITE Beauty’s formulas and own about 5 or 6 of their products, but I absolutely DESPISE the packaging!!! Its chincy and every single one of my products has broke in some way. The caps don’t stay on, the lipstick tube comes apart, or the lipgloss applicator comes loose from its base. Its such a shame and is really the reason I refuse to buy another one of their products until their packaging is altered. Its just unacceptable for the price they charge. Has anyone else had issues similar to this?
