Capricorn

Bite Beauty Capricorn Amuse Bouche Lipstick ($26.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a blackened purple with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation with a creamy, lightly tacky consistency that was dense and thicker (but not heavy or slippery on). The color adhered evenly across my lips without dragging or tugging during application. It wore well for six and a half hours, left a pink-purple stain and was hydrating over time.

This shade will release closer to December 22nd!

Formula Overview

$26.00/0.15 oz. - $173.33 Per Ounce

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick ($26.00 for 0.15 oz.) is supposed to have “bold, creamy color” with “extreme moisture, soft texture, and creamy wear.” The majority of the range is very pigmented–typically opaque with one pass–with a few shades being semi-opaque but usually buildable. All 34 shades are shimmer-free and vary being a soft satin finish to a natural finish (light shine but not glossy).

The consistency is very lightly creamy to lightly creamy with some shades requiring light-medium pressure and can pull the lip a bit when gliding it across the lips, though the color doesn’t appear ragged and the bullet itself doesn’t feel stiff (while other shades applied without tugging, so check individual shade reviews!) The majority of the shades I’ve tested have been lightly hydrating to non-drying and fairly comfortable to wear for the long-haul. They wear longer than average, from four to eight hours, depending on the intensity and propensity of the shade to stain.

Ohhh, this is STUNNING. I’m really thrilled with the shades they came out with for all of the earth signs. Just because they’re earth signs doesn’t mean they’re shades of brown, lol. Virgo (my sign) is my favorite lipstick they came out with, but this is a very close second, based on the swatches.

The same day my daughter turns 30, lol! And I can say for sure that this is not her taste at ALL. More like mine, though. I do have Nars Nancy Audacious lipstick, after all!

Although I am a Scorpio, I was meant to be a Capricorn (born early with my twin sister). Interestingly, she has the Scorpian personality, whilst I am really a Capricorn. But that lipsticks is not for me.

…. I’m a Scorpio who was also supposed to be a Capricorn (Born mid November, supposed to be born Mid January), but wound up more like Sagittarius. 😆. Down the middle.

And I prefer Bite Sag over Bite Scorp or Bite Cappy.. proof 😝

Wow, that is really pretty! I never thought I would wear such dark blackish lip color in real life, but I wore it this year for Halloween and was surprised at how nice it looked. I wear it sheered out over another color and it actually looks surprisingly natural with my coloring. I might get myself one of these! It’s really pretty and not just a flat black color.

I am a Capricorn and when I first saw this shade and knew it was the shade picked for Capricorn, I was a little disappointed. I mean at 64 I didn’t think I could pull it off but I do really like the base shade and feel like I might be able to wear it more as a stain, lightly tapped on the lips rather than going for full opacity. It could be quite pretty and with my very fair colouring would be very distinctive.

I’m a Capricorn, and while I think this is a stunning shade, I’m not quite sure I could pull it off. But what the hell; a new year is coming and so is my 62nd birthday, so why not try something new, bold and different, right? I think I’ll go for it 😉

I’m so jealous of Capricorns right now. I love this shade and I’m glad it got an A too.
I’m a Pisces and I was not happy with that Bite shade, it wouldn’t have suited me at all. So, I’ll probably pick this one up.

What a fantastic shade! I really love it. I have Black Truffle, but this one looks so much darker that it’s tempting. Maybe I should try mixing Black Truffle with a black lipstick.

Love the Bite Beauty astrology lipsticks, They hired me as their Astrology Consultant in 2017 to help them define what each Astrology sign characteristics were. The company chose the colors to go with the signs. Its been super popular and Bite beauty has absolute integrity with everything it does. I loved being in New York in Soho at their store reading lipstick traces for influencers and bloggers all day in January 2018. Their lipsticks are 100% organic and I highly recommend them.
