Best & Worst of ColourPop Lite Stix
ColourPop Lite Stix ($8.00 for 0.33 oz.) is one of the newer formulas released by the brand; it’s a cream highlighter in a stick format available across eight shades. There’s definitely lots of room for some more variety in the shade range, as most shades are on the golden, warmer side of things, and knowing ColourPop, I’m sure that plenty more shades are in the works!
Per the brand, they’re intended to be most pigmented when applied directly from the tube and then more buildable when applied with fingertips or a brush, which was consistent with my experience. They worked well over bare skin as well as over foundation, as they weren’t prone to lifting or moving around base products for me. Some shades had finer pearl, more pearl, and a few had some larger sparkle, but they were flattering on my skin overall. They don’t fully dry down and retain some of the “wet-like” shine on my skin, but they didn’t feel tacky and lasted eight to nine hours.

I think this is a fabulous range of blush sticks, all excellent quality and I am sure the range will be added to over time.
Ooh, I think I love them all! Likely that I will stick with getting only a few to start. Urth and Bullz Eye probably. Although I love the more unique shade, Acting Up, too.
Christine does your hair stick to these if it’s windy, like it would a lip gloss?
I didn’t notice that as an issue while wearing them!
Glad to see this seems to be a high quality line, I can’t wait to play with some of these myself 🙂
I’m impressed that ColourPop is keeping up quality wise at such affordable prices, in their broad range of products! And the rate in which they release new products is also pretty unique I think?
I just wish they were more easily available in Europe – customs charges are not nice and you can only avoid them when the total value is less than about 25$, so you can’t get the free shipping. Oh well, first world problems 😉
I love how travel-friendly these are. Uoeno is my favorite, though Acting Up is very pretty too…would have to try that one out in person, as I haven’t worn anything like that before
I love the two Blush Stix I have (Mini Me and Flamenco), but I’m struggling a bit with the Lite Stix (Urth). I don’t use highlighter often, and the cream formula is still new to me, so I think I’ll get more comfortable with it in time. I like when the “worst” in the “best and worst” posts are no lower than B+. Good job, Colourpop!
Congrats, CP — you did a good thing here!
