Best Products of the Week | Vol. 330
Hope your weekend is starting off on the right note! Every Saturday, I like to share the top 10 products from the last week of reviews. It’s a nice way to highlight what reviews have been published recently. Similarly, I love reading–and I know others enjoy sharing!–their own “week in review” when it comes to what makeup/beauty products they may have used and/or enjoyed.
What was your week in review like? Copy and paste the lil’ survey below and share your answers in the comments 🙂

Your skin tone/coloring: very fair with neutral undertones, dark brown eyes and grey hair.
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: I didn’t wear a lot of makeup this week but I did put some on to go to the dump. I have actually posted a couple of looks on IG which I call my, “Going to the dump” makeup! Anyway, reading the review for So Quiche reminded me I hadn’t worn it in awhile so I used that with my light beige matte shadow under my brows and a brown eyeliner. My lashes are showing their age and I haven’t been using my lash serum on them because I ran out and haven’t ordered. (I am still trying to decide if I want to change serums.). I used Buxom Waterproof mascara and Cover Girl Lash Sensation, which seems to work best when my lashes are not in good shape. I didn’t use blush or bronzer but did plop on some lipstick. In this case it was MAC Twig which I didn’t like with the look. The look was pretty neutral for me so I would have preferred a pop of color but for going to the dump, it was good!
What was the hero product of the week for you?: Really nothing although I guess you could say the SSS So Quiche. It is a beautiful shade.
Any products you want to use next week?: I will likely be wearing my MAC lipstick in Pink Roses every single day!!
Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: I’ve been home all week and wearing minimal makeup but I loved using Anastasia Chiffon as almost a “one and done” (though I did use shimmery, lighter shades at the inner corners); MAC Into the Pink blush, which is light enough not to look like too much with a minimal look; Sephora Cappuccino pencil liner and – like almost always – MAC Craving on my lips
What was the hero product of the week for you?: Probably the Chiffon shadow, ABH Sultry palette and Clarins Blue Orchid facial oil.
Any products you want to use next week?:
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: On;y really basic neutral looks this week due to the awful heatwave we’ve been experiencing here: So Primrose, Rendevous and Whiskey from Lorac’s Noir (my new go to neutrals palette) and a dash of Maybelline’s Mauve for Me or Sephora’s Festival Lights lipstick.
What was the hero product of the week for you?: La Roche Posay’s Sunscreen 50+
Any products you want to use next week?: Probably more of the same as this heatwave is set to continue for awhile.
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: Sisley 42 silver e/s combined with Nars Lhasa, MAC Grey Utility eye pencil Burberry Silk & bloom blush
What was the hero product of the week for you?: Peach under eye corrector
Any products you want to use next week?: In the Project pan Mission
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green eyes, warm brown hair.
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: It’s a tie between the first look I did with the Huda Rose Quartz palette and a BH Cosmetics palette look. Here are links if you want to check them out!

What was the hero product of the week for you?: My BH Cosmetics palettes. I used them a lot this week.
Any products you want to use next week? My Blend Bunny Dollhouse palette came in, so definitely that. And I want to do some looks from the running list i have going.
ugh….colourpop wins again just by sheer volume of releases.
Your skin tone/coloring: Super fair, rosacea pink
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week? Perhaps the one I have on today. Which is Melt’s MaryJane palette. Bo on the lid and smoked in to my crease and Kali in the inner corner. Some Sinsemilla to tightline and shade the outer corners of my eyes just a touch (doubles as a brow color for me too!)
What was the hero product of the week for you? Melt’s old liquid liner in brown
Any products you want to use next week? More moisturizers. I’ve got several open ones, a few in my backups, and rediscovered a bunch of samples saved for the traveling I don’t do anymore and can’t say for sure when the next time will be.
