Best Products of the Week | Vol. 282
Hope your weekend is starting off on the right note! Every Saturday, I like to share the top 10 products from the last week of reviews. It’s a nice way to highlight what reviews have been published recently. Similarly, I love reading–and I know others enjoy sharing!–their own “week in review” when it comes to what makeup/beauty products they may have used and/or enjoyed.
What was your week in review like? Copy and paste the lil’ survey below and share your answers in the comments 🙂

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: Seeing as we’ve just endured a heatwave this past week, my makeup looks have been ‘minimal’ for me. One summery look I liked this week involved Dior’s Jardin – with the cream shade on the lid, the mint shade over the mobile lid and the teal shade along the lashline. I paired it with MAC’s Chili.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Dior’s Jardin, Stila In the Garden and my City Color shades of Cleo and Sandstorm.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: ND’s Glam and exploring some of the subtle goldy shades in my collection (these shades will co-ordinate with a new top I have just purchased – it turns out they are the same colours as Pantone’s colours of the year – yellow and grey).
Oh my – I was thinking “how the heck did I miss that Dior palette?” and then looked it up here at Temptalia and talk about beautiful. It’s from 2015 (aka A Different World) and I looked though the comments and was sorely tempted back then but saw that I’ve dupes of most of the shades, including that earth-shattering BLUE (and I don’t even wear blue shadows all that often but I think I’ll dig out my Nars palette with Giove in it and give it a spin soon).
You’ve got a heat wave and we’ve had close to 3 feet of snow. But it is starting to melt (just in time for it to snow again, I fear).
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: I did sort of a smoky neutral with a twist look a few days ago that I loved using the Kaleidos Makeup Club Nebula palette. Here’s the link if you want to see!

Any new or old favorites discovered?: Nothing that I can think of!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I just got a few more Devinah Cosmetics singles (Mystic Moonpie, Moonlit, Lynx, Aquila) and would love to use all of them.
Your skin tone/coloring: above
Look you loved this week?: I did an eye look with Sydney Grace Concrete Road, MUG Caitlin Rose, Terra Moons Moon Lily and Give Me Glow Roses Remix that turned out spectacular!
Any new or old favorites discovered?: New would be the ones above! They were all great!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Hoping to use more of my new JD Glow and Give Me Glow shadows.
Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
Look you loved this week?: I honestly can’t think of any….(sad face)
Any new or old favorites discovered?: yes, a freebie YSL Lipstick-in-Oil “gloss” (they’re not truly lipsticks) that I got months ago; it’s a mini so I can’t even read the # on it without a magnifying glass but it felt so good on my lips, under my mask; I have a full size of Rouge Cape (I think) and it’s also nice but, man, these babies are way overpriced!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: two things come to mind. 1 – because of the question about smaller palettes that was asked today, I want to use Smashbox Minimalist and Smoky more; 2 – because of watching Dix Pour Cent (Call My Agent) and seeing Charlotte Gainsbourg (time hasn’t been all that kind to her or perhaps it’s lifestyle), I want to pull out the 2 Nars/Charlotte Gainsbourg e/s duos I have, primarily Old Church Street.
