Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair)
Look you loved this week?: Used my ColourPop The Child Palette the other day with gorgeous results! Transition: Just Like Tatooine, outer and mid crease: Droid Protocol, outer V and lower outer lashline: Float Your Crib, inner corner: Precious Cargo, mobile lid: The Force, inner lower lashline: Sipping Soup. Followed with my usual black mascara and liners.
Cheeks: UD Jawbone, ABH Amrezy highlighter, MJ Night Fever & Hot Stuff.
Lips: Rare Beauty Heroic Lip Souffle.
Yes, you read correctly; rich berries with warm greens and browns.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Rediscovered how much I love pairing unexpected color combos. Sometimes, it can be downright gorgeous!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Hoping to get my hands on some ND newness this week…I’m really feeling those mini Love goodies!
I do too nowadays. The other day I paired In the Buff, from bareMinerals Soft and Smoky (a peachy satin shade) with the green/pewter Midnight Luminance shade. Love it.
Your eye look sounds just perfect to me.
Your combo sounds awesome too, Genevieve! It’s fun to push our imaginations into less than typical combos every once in awhile.
I need to use my CP The Child palette more… I love the theming; it’s so cute, but I was disappointed with the quality of the shimmers upon my first use and haven’t touched it since. I have heard glitter glue helps, but also my eyes are very lined and that makes shimmers look all the more textured on me, which I need to come to terms with. 😂
Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
Look you loved this week?: I mixed some Algenist Rose Concentrated Luminizing Drops (do they even still make this product?) with my moisturizer to sort of brighten up my skin; no blush or powder but concealer (it was either MAC Prolongwear or Dior’s new one – I’ve used both this past week – set with Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder; eyes were Marina and Claudia from the ABH “Mario” palette with a blue black liner from Lise Watier.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: probably the Lise Watier liners generally. A few are getting a bit dry and harder to use but I’m thinking of replacing them with new, fresh versions of themselves – all the shades are still available. And every time I use it – despite its shortcomings – I am so glad I got that ABH Mario palette. I nearly passed it by.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Chanel’s Tisse d’Automne quad from years back. It’s very fall shades but I just feel like giving it a whirl.
You have really gotten a lot of use out of the Mario palette – it’s been a favourite standby for you for quite a few years now.
I love the Tisse D’Automne quad myself – I just wished the first shade wasn’t a pink, but an antique gold – then it would be heaven for me.
I find that lightest shade to be more peachy than pink (more along the lines of MAC’s All That Glitters or Naked Lunch) and I quite like it. I actually find the 2 green shades to be a bit of “overkill” and wish one of those had been as you describe – an antique gold shade. And yes – the Mario palette has turned out to be a real winner for me, even though there are a few shades there too that I find a bit “redundant”.
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: I did a really fun “fire and ice” look using my Viseart Dark Edit palette and Menagerie Snowball and absolutely loved how it turned out. I also did a fun pink and purple look using the BH Cosmetics Naughty palette. Here are the links if you want to see!

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I’ve been acquainting myself more with my Viseart Dark Edits palette (so I can find ways to use it without it creasing on me) and it’s becoming a fave. Once I can find a way to use Foret without it creasing, I will be fully in love.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: My Nomad Cosmetics palettes came in today, so I’m looking forward to trying the brand for the first time. Upon first swatch…😍
I love your posts showing your looks Celesta – both are so pretty and they suit you well. In particular I liked the lipstick you used in the first pic – Revlon’s Rose Velvet. It is exactly the shade my daughter in law likes and I will get it for her for her birthday.
Thank you so much, Genevieve! Rose Velvet is the first Revlon lipstick I ever tried and made me fall in love with the formula. It’s so nice!
Those looks are gorgeous, Celesta! I’m loving the icy pale blue with the red-hot oranges so much!
Thank you, Nancy! It was definitely a surprising contrast; I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: I tried my best to do graduated shades of grey with ND’s Glam palette: a soft cream over the lids, a matte (yes matte!) grey shade in the crease and outward part of the lower lid, a mid tone grey on the lower lid, darker grey on the lashline and the soft white/gold shade in the corner. I did my best to blend it all in well. I paired it with CP’s Gallop lipstick.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: ND Glam and still using bareMInerals Soft and Smoky palette.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Probably CT’s The Rebel 2020 and Lorac’s Noir palette.
I bet the tones of The Rebel quad look lovely with your coloring, Genevieve.
Your skin tone/coloring: above
Look you loved this week?: Give Me Glow Juicy Olive palette matte greens blended out in crease & under lashline with Give Me Glow Princess Pink on the inner half of lid. Marc Jacobs Lunatic on waterline. It turned out so cool!
Any new or old favorites discovered?: The shadows above were all new to me!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Any of the products I haven’t tried yet!
Ooooh! I love pink and green together, too, Cat. This sounds so pretty and lively looking, like springtime.
Thanks Nancy! I hadn’t done pink and green together in a while but I love it too!
