Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name! (Blue-green eyes)
Favorite look from the week: Same eye look twice this week using UD Naked Honey! Swarm as transition blown upwards into MAC Orb on browbone, Keeper in crease and into inner corner, deepened up with Hive, then Sting for definition on the outer V and outer lower lashline, Amber on mid lid blended with deeper sides on Halo slightly, Honey tapped on middle of Amber and inner tearducts, 1/4 lower lashline, Queen lower lashline, UD 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Stash on outer 2/3 of lower lashline, MAC Blacktrack Fluidline on upper lashline wing, lots of mascara and upper lashline tightliner.
Cheeks: UD Jawbone, MAC Sweet Visions, ABH x Amrezy highlighter. On the 2nd day, it was just a change in blush to MAC Cheek Pollen.
Lips: one day MAC Natural Born Leader and a bit of Becca Beach Nectar lipgloss, the other day Nars Sheena.
Your most used product this week: UD Naked Honey palette!
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): That doing an entire eye look in mustard-y shades seriously bring out the blue in my blue-green w/ honey gold flecked eyes!
Stunning eye look you are rocking there Nancy. I adore the shimmers in the palette, so so gorgeous.
Coloring: Under my name. Green eyes, s&p hair.
Favorite Look: EYES—Viseart Liaison (Blushing in crease, Embrace on lid, Fusion on outer V, Bisous on inner corners); Benefit Goof Proof brow pencil in Cool Grey; Chanel Stylo Yeux Eye Pencil in Charme on outer third of lower lash line; Lancôme Definicils Mascara.
FACE—Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Concealer, Colourpop Blush Stix in Flamenco (applied with e.l.f. Small Stipple brush and a very, very light hand), RCMA No Color Powder.
LIPS—I like this look with either MAC Modesty or MAC Pure Nonchalance.
Most Used Products: Benefit Goof Proof brow pencil in Cool Grey, Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder.
Beauty Discovery #1: I’ve been feeling disappointed with the Viseart Liaison palette ever since I bought it, but I decided to work with it some more this week. Turns out it’s actually not bad at all; it just took some experimentation. I’m still not a fan of the shimmers, but Bisous, used very sparingly, turned out to be a nice inner corner shade. I’ll definitely be using the top row of shades more often now.
Beauty Discovery #2: I think I finally “got” Guerlain’s Meteorite Pearls. I tried more of a swirling, buffing application with a Sigma F50 brush (thank you to Pearl for recommending it). I applied it on half of my face and saw a difference. It’s extremely subtle, but the side with the Meteorite Pearls really did look nicer. It just took a bit more swirling and buffing than I’ve been doing.
I used the Liaison palette and the color pop blush stick in Flamenco this week too. This is the best purple palette I’ve tried so far. The shimmers really work for me! The 2 matte shades in the upper left are very week on me. Hummm. The rest are great though. I guess maybe different skin tones, etc.
What did you find missing or lacking in the Liason palette Seraphine? Bisous is a gorgeous shade, probably my favourite from the palette, and it woud look lovely where you are placing it.
Genevieve, my biggest problem was that I found the shimmers to be too chunky. But Bisous did work nicely in the inner corners and I was impressed that it stayed put all day. This is a palette that I’ll keep working with, and maybe I’ll grow to like it more.

Favorite look from the week: I haven’t worn a lot of makeup this week as I have been having trouble with a combination of migraines and GI problems from medication. The Dr, started me on Victoza and it took awhile for me to adjust to it with lots of nausea, abdominal pain and just not feeling good. Since I started on it about a year ago, there have been times when the pharmacy runs out and I will have to go for awhile without it. Then when I go back on it I end up having the same symptoms for awhile until I readjust. Oh the joys of living in a small town. Anyway, I think I only applied makeup one day and it was only base products, mascara and lipstick. Nothing worth reporting. I love seeing what looks other people put together though! Friday and Saturday are my favorite days on the blog for that reason. I shop vicariously and sometimes actually based on Friday haul videos and then this question each week is a favorite. Also, Tara uploads on Saturday nights so I have to be ready to buy anything that appeals!!
Your most used product this week: Skin care. I have added hyperpigmentation above my age related pigmentation due to some skin issues when I used CBD oil and my skin didn’t like it so my skin is not in good shape right now. I am blasting it with a lot of moisture, dark spot correcting and exfoliation. I used the Ole Henriksen Phat Glow Facial and I am loving how my skin has responded after just two applications. My texture is much diminished and my overall skin appearance is just refreshed. Now if I can get the pigmentation to respond I will be happy.
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): I dug out a couple of Jill Stuart blushes this week and was playing with them and I have really enjoyed the shades. They are definitely lighter and more spring/summer shades but I am trying to prolong summer as much as possible. Normally I love fall and I am sure I will enjoy it soon but just not ready to give up yet!
I’m sorry for what you’re going through with the medication. I hope the symptoms subside for you soon. That’s awful you have to go through that more than once due to availability.
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Favorite look from the week: EYES — TFSI. CP PPS in Silver Lining (crease), Royal Crown (out corner; lower lash line; outer corner), Goody Two-Shoes (lid), and Prowlin (brow bone & inner corner). UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion (upper waterline) and Almay Black Plum Eyeliner Pencil in Black Amethyst (lower waterline). Medusa’s Makeup Witch Lash Mascara. CHEEKS — NARS Blissful. LIPS — ABH Matte Lipstick in Dead Roses. FACE — e.l.f. Hydrating Face Primer; BH Cosmetics Naturally Flawless Foundation in Ivory; RCMA No Color Powder; e.l.f. Blush in Gotta Glow (HL); Sephora Tranquil (contour); e.l.f. Original Mist & Set.
Your most used product this week: Black Moon Cosmetics Liquid to Matte Lipstick in Nightmare. BH Cosmetics Naturally Flawless Foundation in Ivory + my usual dailies
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): Yellow and yellow-brown eyeshadows bring out the yellow tones in my eyes, making them look really cool. I used to hate yellow-browns, but I’m liking them on my eyes, at least. (Still not keen on them for clothes or lipstick.)
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favorite look from the week: I’ve been playing with my Flower beauty Golden palette for most of this week – lovely the slightly metallic shades of bronze and gold and have paired them with navy blue, olive shades (favourite combo) and warmer browns. I have paired them with Colour Pop’s LA Lady, Foolish, Sephora’s Festival by Night – all kinds of lipsticks.
Your most used product this week: My staples plus the Flower Golden palette.
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): That I really like palettes with a mirror on them.
And probably that I don’t need anymore makeup…..
I’m not doing the full questionnaire right now because it’s late, but I will do favorite look. I feel very accomplished, because Wednesday I replicated/tweaked* the Peacock Pretty look from Iman’s book The Beauty of Color! After a base of Fenty Pro Filt’r 110 concealer and Soft Matte foundation, I applied Huda Emerald Obsessions 6 (emerald matte) and 5 (peacock green shimmer, on top of 6) to my lids from lash to crease and under my eyes and Emerald 9 (gold shimmer) to the inner corners. I put Huda Gemstone Obsessions 5 (bright purple-the original Gemstone Obsessions palette is all shimmers) in the crease and outer V and Huda Sapphire Obsessions 9 (sky blue shimmer) from crease to browbone and under my eyes. Because of all the bright colors, I kept my mascara relatively neutral-YSL The Shock Rough Burgundy. I finished my version of the look with Tarte Paaarty blush and a combination of KvD Studded Kiss Creme Crush lipstick and NYX Candy Slick Jelly Bean Dream gloss.
*I say “replicated/tweaked” because with all the shadows being shimmers, they won’t blend the exact same way twice. This time, I ended up with the purple and blue showing up on the undereye area more than the green they topped.
I looked up the Peacock Pretty look. Beautiful!
Thanks! I loved wearing it!
Your skin tone/coloring: fair/cool skin (foundation matches: Fenty Pro Filt’r 110, Urban Decay All Nighter 2.5, NARS Natural Radiant Longwear 2.0 Mont Blanc, Kevyn Aucoin The Etherealist Light EF 02, L’Oreal True Match C3 Creamy Natural), gray eyes, brown hair with red highlights and scattered blonde/blue strands
Favorite look from the week: see my first comment on this post.
Your most used product this week: Besides my base products, probably Tarte Paaarty blush.
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): That bright colors work extremely well with my coloring! (old)
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Favorite look from the week: I did a fun bright look using the Kaleidos Makeup Futurism IV VR Neon palette… I mostly used it for the color Easter Egg, which is this INSANE bright, sparkling magenta. I put an orangey color in my crease, Easter Egg all over my lid and used the plummy shades from the ND Safari palette to deepen the outer corner. Tom Ford Casablanca was my lip and I went with a pinky nude blush as well.
Your most used product this week: Tom Ford Lip Color in Casablanca… I can’t stop wearing it!
Any beauty discoveries… None that I can think of!
