The more readers who share their recommendations, the more powerful our Makeup Recommendations system will be!   You can also browse through recommended products, and you can look for specific types of products or for recommendations by things like skin type, skin tone, age range, and so forth.  For example, I might want to find out what coral blushes others with a light-medium/medium skin tone recommend.

Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Have been there since the beginning, and really love all my children. Yes, true love, as in a soap opera. Just as fickle! Ironically, haven’t gotten seduction, and might have to, prob the most ‘me’ color. Many way faves, esp the ? 2016 summer four pan DI. Far and away Nars best product, and something for every look. They blend out so well. Regret some I missed, like douceur and almeria. Most of the palettes are from decent on up, if you like the colors. I do pass on at least 1/2 of those, like the angel and unfiltered 2. Nars blush is most likely to be saved, (after the dogs) if the stash caught fire.

If you ever find yourself to be a Sephora VIB Rouge, do yourself a big favor and get their Rouge exclusive shade Goulue! It works on most skintones between, say, NC10/NW13 and NC48/NW45. It’s perfection for lt.-med.-tan-caramel complexions!

I second your choice, Nancy. Goulue is beautiful. One of only two blushes I have received as gifts from Sephora that I really love. The other is the Tarte Paaarty blush. I am not sure how Goulue manages to be so beautiful on so many different skin tones and depth of tone but it does. I also love both Sin and Blissful. They are both in the same color family. I have Adoration but don’t use it much.

I have so many Nars blushes they have their own makeup bag. My favorite is Orgasm, Taos , Tai Mahal and Mati Hari. I’m not sure how the recommendations work because every time I enter one of my favorites it disappears? I’m not sure if when I enter a different one it deletes the previous one??

Hey Denise,

Could you send us a screen shot? Along with your device! christine[at]temptalia.com

When you type in a recommendation, it should drop down a suggested list of shades, and when you select one, it gets added to your list. You can recommend up to 25 products.

Once you submit, you’ll see this message: Recommendations Successfully Submitted! Thank you for your submission! Refresh the page to see your recommendations!

If you refresh the page, your recs will be reflected in the counts/results.

After seeing your comment, I realized the results were reflecting in the numbers increasing, I thought it would list my top picks, but now I realize it’s more similar to a poll. Thanks for your prompt response!

Gotcha! Sorry that wasn’t clear. The whole thing is an attempt to organize when readers would leave comments with their favorites so that all that info can be presented in an easier way to read/see (e.g. you don’t have to hunt for the skin tone! or you can see shades or products that get mentioned a lot more readily) vs. scrolling through comments.

My favorite is for sure the liquid Dolce Vita. I love the color and it lasts all damn day on me! I put some on the morning before I went to a concert in another city. A two hour greyhound bus ride and one concert later, the blush had barely faded.

Douceur is hands down my absolute favorite blush! If I had to give up everything but one product in my unwieldy stash, including eyeshadow & highlighters, and start over, Douceur would be it. I recently picked up 3 more backups (to add to my other backup) from NARS’ website. They’re in refill pan format, but still worth it. I have just about all the popular “dupes” available, but none of them are nearly as pretty…
