Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I have two winter fragrances, and so what I associate with holiday season: Bulgari Rouge au the Vert (red tea) for fall into and through winter; Kiehl’s classic musk for heart of winter

That’s a great one Christine! In the past my favorite was Burberry Brit Red because it smelled like Christmas in a bottle but it’s discontinued. 🙁 This season I’ll be wearing my new scent Dark Horse from Dame Perfumery a lot, it’s spicy and cozy.

I like Mugler Angel because, well, Christmas and angels seem to make sense. I just discovered Margiela’s By the Fireplace. Mmmm! Smells like “chestnuts roasting on an open fire”.

I Love Tom Ford velvet orchid for this colder season, beautiful and cosy scent! I also love Zadig & Voltaire – this is her. Gorgeous scent for the holidays ????????

My Thanksgiving/Christmas scent is Jo Malone’s Mimosa & Cardamom (though I lighten it up with Wood Sage & Sea Salt on Thanksgiving), and my New Year’s scent is definitely going to be their new Basil & Neroli cologne, though I may also lighten it up with Wood Sage & Sea Salt.

I don’t have a holiday fragrance. It is more about what I can tolerate since many of them I find too strong and cloying. YSL doesn’t bother me so much so I’ve been wearing that lately
