Best Glitter Adhesive

What's the Best Glitter Adhesive that you've tried?

I love Lit’s for actual loose glitter, but Too Faced Glitter Insurance works nicely with more powder-based eyeshadows that have glitter in them.

Fyirinnae Pixy Epoxy- What a sweet name! It is the only one I’ve tried so far but it gets the job done, especially for their shadows. The other one I’ve heard being mentioned is Darling Girl’s glitter glue.

I’ve only used Too Faced’s and Elf’s. I prefer the Too Faced slightly. It gets a bit more tacky. But, I wouldn’t starve or anything to get the TF over the Elf. They are very comparable. I actually bought the Elf first to see if I was going to be able to use a glitter glue and not hate it before I bought the more expensive one. So,thats an option. I think TF needs to sample that primer more because I think it’s the more unique primer in their selection.

I’ve only tried a few drug-store brands’ glitter adhesives. I like e.l.f. Glitter Primer best. It’s cheap and works great for glittery eyeshadows and loose glitters.

I’ve heard great things about Lit, Too Faced and Fyrrinae’s versions, but I haven’t tried them yet. I really want to try the Lit after seeing so many YouTubers use it.

I’ve only ever used one, so I wouldn’t call myself an expert by any means! Just one by Lashsplash. It was alright, but I have been thinking about getting Fryrinnae Pixy Epoxy or Too Faced Glitter Glue for tricky eyeshadows.

I’ve only tried two, ELF and Fyrinnae’s Pixie epoxy. Of the two, Pixie Epoxy is the one I prefer. ELF’s gets so gooey and tacky, while Pixie Epoxy feels smooth and sticky. ELF’s is thicker, thus feeling heavier on the lid. Pixie Epoxy is a thinner consistency and feels light on the lid. (I feel like I should be doing a Fyrinnae ad…)

I love the Too Faced Glitter Glue! It is great for pigments and glitter.

I don’t like the eye candy adhesive… it is good for making glitter into a liner, but not for all over the lid. When applied all over the lid, it dries in a sheet like manor.

Definitely Too Faced glitter glue for glittery shadows, but I honestly have never tried loose glitter that wasn’t mixed with eyeshadow, so I’m not sure how the Shadow Insurance glitter glue would work with actual straight-up glitters. It does really, really well at holding onto my ColourPop shadows, though! Those don’t really work on my lids without it.
