What’s the Best Fragrance for Summer that you’ve tried?

Share your pick!  And don’t forget to share why 🙂

I like Tom Ford’s Neroli Portofino, but I tend to still wear my go-to scents throughout the year.

I really love Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme (all year round honestly) but it smells even better in the spring and summer.
Following closely are also Escada Cherry in the Air as well as Bvlgari Omnia Coral

I love Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche, Nest Paradise, or Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt. I generally prefer scents that are warm and fresh, but these don’t become too cloying when I get warm in the summertime!

I agree! Tom Ford Neroli is divine! I was shocked when I saw the price. But, I fell in love with it when I received a sample. I would have never paid that much for a fragrance and I know my stomach is going to turn when I do. I have been stashing aside a little each week in my “beauty” fund for it. It may be mid summer by the time I buy it. But, it’s so gorgeous, I will probably wear it into early fall and hopefully the bottle will be around next spring/summer!

I change mine up, but I like sweeter and fruitier scents for summer. Right now I’m really into Pacifica’s Tuscan Blood Orange. Pink Sugar is a favorite, as well as Juicy Couture La La.

Ok, so I live in the desert and it gets horribly hot, so what I always gravitate towards are fragrances which will make me smell fresh and clean for as long as humanly possible here! Therefore my go-to is Fresh Life. It’s very fresh and citrusy, not heavy, yet it sticks around. Love it!

My newest acquisition is Jo Malone’s Wood Sage & Sea Salt (as an “I got through undergrad while also dealing with a long-term illness reward) and I feel like it is great for summer, as it reminds me of the beach. Or fall, or spring, or winter. I just want to wear it ALL THE TIME. I love it so much.

I combine a few, wear some at bedtime, others depending upon mood, but a great one I recently procured which smells like my favorite Charmaine I had long ago is heavenly! Amethyst Éclat by Lalique. It’s perfect for the season! 🙂 (Honorable mentions & use go to Oribe Côte d’Azur, MJ Mod Noir, Lalique Satine, Kai, Kiehl’s Coriander oil… ) 😀

I also love Neroli Portofino! Beach by Bobbi Brown is close-but a lot cheaper! I love all of the Pacifica rollerballs for summer too.

I love beachy scents for summer. Bronze Goddess by Estee Lauder is a longtime favorite.

For something light and breezy, I like Jo Malone’s Earl Grey & Cucumber. For something more nighttime sultry, I like Jo Malone’s Blue Agava & Cacao.

Hermes En Jardin en Mediterranee – the smell of childhood vacations in the Mediterranean (but it really smells like rotten figs :)).

Clinique’s Calyx is a long time summer favorite. I’ve also been wearing Pacifica’s Tuscan Blood Orange and her Spanish Amber, which is a nice, very light amber. I have a couple of go to BPAL summer scents–Swank (pomegranate) and Thunderbird (a sort of green aquatic). I like to put perfume on before I go to bed and I tend to wear my heavier, resiny scents then.

I don’t really pay attention to seasons for fragrances; I wear whatever I’m in the mood to wear. That said, the fragrances I have that come to mind as “summery” are Vent du Sud by Lise Watier, and Pamplemousse by Guerlain.

For me my hands down favourite Summer fragrance is Elle L’Aime by Lolita Lempicka. I don’t know what it is, maybe the hint of coconut, that makes me think of Summer holidays. I always save that perfume for Summer; I just can’t bring myself to wear it any other time of year!

Vero Profumo Mito (magnolia, green)
Ormonde Jayne Frangipani (frangipani, lime)
Serge Lutens Fleurs de Citronnier (lemon blossom)
Parfums de Nicolai l’Eau Chic (geranium, musk)
Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine (blood orange)
Neela Vermiere Bombay Bling (mango, spices)

I don’t change my perfume with the seasons either, but right now I am loving Mark Jocobs Daisy Eau So Fresh and the two Sorbet LE’s put out this spring. I can’t get enough of them!

My fav perfume in the summer has to be Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Toit. It is so fresh but has abit of saltiness to it. Its almost like standing in a garden right next to the ocean!
