LORAC Pro Palette!
MAC retro matte flat out fabulous !
UD Vice 2 palette (OMG!!!!!!)
MAC Peachtwist Blush
love ’em!
MAC Stars n Rockets eyeshadow & Guess’ Seductive Perfume 🙂 <3
Probably the four theBalm Instain blushes I bought. I’ve worn either Houndstooth or Swiss Dot almost every time I’ve done my makeup since I bought them. Another thing is the Lolita Lempicka Si Lolita perfume I ordered, it hasn’t arrived yet but the test spray I did of it was heavenly.
Shiseido Sheer and Perfect Foundation
I have recently become addicted to NARS Multiples, and have amassed 4 so far. Of these, my absolute favorite is Copacabana. I don’t know how well these fare on eyes or lips, nore do I really care, as I bought them specifically for contouring (St. Bart’s & Tuomota) & highlighting (Copacabana & Luxor), and they work beautifully for my purposes. Next up are Malibu, Maldives, & Undress Me, which are the only ones that interest me (so far…).
How did you get Nars Tuomota? I thought that shade was discontinued?
I found it on ebay (it pops up fairly often), but when I was going back & forth on buying it, looking for the best price, etc., I also saw it on Amazon, All Cosmetics Wholesale, and a few other similar sites. Although it has been DCd, I can’t recall seeing it priced above standard retail, and most seelers had it priced in the $20 USD range.
UD “Vice 2” palette and “Ocho Loco 2” 24/7 liners, Sugarpill “Cold Chemistry” Palette, and Tart “Off the Cuff” blush palette. The new Vice palette is amazing and I adore the looks you can create from that and the Cold Chemistry palette.
I got Vice2 and Cold Chemistry too! I’m also thinking they are going to be amazing together!
Le Blush Creme de Chanel in Presage. These blushes are amazing! I loved it so much I bought Inspiration as well. Dior Nude Tan Healthy Glow Enhancing Powder comes a close second.
I want to try this color so much! I’ve been holding out and pinching my pennies because I’m sure my next visit to a chanel counter is going to mean a purchase of this blush, a mascara and a lipstick and my wallet can’t handle that right now. Maybe for a christmas/graduation gift to myself >.>
The blush is definitely worth it! I am *almost* happy to pay a stupid amount because it is so good. I’m not convinced Chanel mascaras and lipsticks are worth it unless it is an amazing colour and there isn’t a colour+quality dupe elsewhere. Chanel mascaras are around 50AUD for reference, but if I was paying US prices I’d probably buy them.
Thanks for using my question Christine!
Guerlain 4 seasons bronzer in 00 and hourglass immaculate foundation.
LOVE this bronzer! Great as blush and for warmth, because of the different shades.
The pixi endless silky eyeliner kit
My best beauty purchase has been the Too Faced “Pretty Rebel” palette. I didnt think i would use it as often as i do which is usually 4 days out oft he week.
Honestly? It’s hard to believe I’m saying this – but the one I use the most is the em Cosmetics Sheer lipstick in violaceous. It’s not really sheer but it is incredibly emollient. A little goes a long way so it will last me a long, long time. And the color actually works well on me. The bad part, however, is that it is definitely a spring/summer item.
Makeup Forever HD Foundation
Mary Lou Manizer by theBalm
Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation
Me too on the Chanel! It is perfect!
NARS Light Reflecting Loose Powder!
Wayne Goss makeup brushes
and Lancôme Dreamtone
and Dior Rouge 999
Gosh, I can’t pick just one!
Hands down it’s the Urban Decay Chill Setting Spray the best setting spray ever. I like it way better than the all nighter setting spray.
Dior air flash foundation. . Love the flawless look it gives me
Bobbi Brown pink retouching powder or my sonia kashuk cream bronzer.
It would have to be the LORAC Pro Palette. I didn’t give it the most favorable review but only because of its packaging. It’s been my go to for shadows since I got it. It’s super versatile, having a variety of finishes. You can go really low key or full on. I love it! xx
Becca Mineral Blushes; Chanel Glossimers, Le Blush Cremes, and Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lipsticks; Guerlain Meteorites Perles Base Eclat Les Ors and Terra Ora Sculpting Powder and Contrast Highlighter; NARS Translucent Crystal Light Reflecting Setting Powder (loose); Tom Ford Cream Foundation Brush
Dior Addict Lip Glow! My lips have never looked so beautiful and natural at the same time. 🙂
Did it turn your lips bright fuchsia? Mine did! :/
Nars Sheer Matte foundation, L’Oréal Color Infaillible eyeshadow in Tender Caramel and Shu Uemura eyelash curler.
MAC Nylon and MUFE Mat Velvet+ foundation!
ZA’s June Bride highlighter 😀 It was so pretty on my skin!
Dior Paradise duo blushes and Guerlain Madame Rougit.
Travel Guerlain Meteorites, because, yes, I was taking that big tin around with me!
Balea p.h. cleanser, Mac face & body foundation
Bobbi Brown Corrector in Extra Light Bisque. It’s really helping me with my dark circle problem as well as allowing me to get to know the Bobbi Brown brand better.
Oddly, it’s not really a “purchase” at all but a VIB points purchase and that’s this terrific little Bobbi Brown palette (1 blush and 4 eye shadows) that also came with an eye cream and a mascara. The mascara is so wonderful I’m buying the full size later this week (and I am not someone who often wears mascara!). For actual purchases, probably the Tarte for Aqualilies palette though that might fall just outside of the 3 months limit, so if that doesn’t count, then I think it’s probably the Guerlain Bonne Etoile 5 pan eye shadow palette.
Laura Mercier’s Spellbound Illuminator.
Estee Lauder blush in Mauve mystique! and MAC bronzer in matte bronze 🙂
I would have to say Mac’s Viva Glam 1 ( Rupaul). Anything that gives to charity is good in my book.
Nars blush in amour.
expensive pink and satin taupe eyeshadows from mac! 🙂
The Lorac Pro palette, I’ve been thinking about buying it for months but kept pushing it back and man I regret not buying sooner. Next to my Naked 1 and 2 it`s the best!
Sigma’s Creme de Couture Palette without the blushes which I didn’t need! Lovely pastel matte colors =]
Lumikki Cosmetics (BAD SERVICE) But amazing eyeshadows for a good price on sale (under 4 bucks for 2 to 2.5 grams) that are amazing over Pixie Epoxy …Eventually you will get your eyeshadows from her -_-
Physician’s Formula Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trio in Smoky Nude Eyes and Warm Nude Eyes because they are affordable gluten free products that you can get in a drugstore (you don’t know how happy this product has made me). I use these as base for eyeshadows.
Mac’s Plumful Lipstick! So wearable!
If I had to pick just one, I’d go with Dior Grege quint, because I can actually wear every single shade in it, which doesn’t happen often with Dior quints.
Me too. In fact I went on a 10 day business trip and used this palette exclusively for about 6 of the 10 days. Now I’ve got my eye(s!) on an older quint called ‘Mitzah’. It looks to be another really wearable palette.
Mitzah is my favorite! I use it all the time. Has the perfect natural looking shades. I use it on its own or use one or two shades with a more colorful look. I’m pretty sure it was a sephora exclusive/le product. Hopefully you can find it.
Urban decay naked palette and estee lauder double wear light liquid foundation
Armani Eyes to Kill Intense eyeshadows. I finally broke down and bought two of them (28 and 30) after waffling about the cost for more than a year. They were so worth it, primarily because they look as great at the end of the day as they do when I initially apply them (for me, “all day” means 12-14 hours). They are also just beautiful and work well with my coloring.
Perfumes!
Goutte de Rose by Cartier
Eav des Bavx by L’Occiane
… Aaaaand a timemachine fragrance lol Candie’s by Candie’s (The first one lauched in 1999! Love it)
Ah, and Lady Million
Inglot eye shadow palette. Aside from the awesome shadows, I can’t get over how fantastic the actual palette is.
REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask has been one of my best purchases in the last few months. That and NARS Terre De Feu!
Either my Covergirl Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 foundation or my NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder!!!
Either Benefit Rockateur or the Lorac Unzipped palette! I’m loving warm rose golds and bronzes right now!
MAC sex & the oyster eyeshadow. It’s not the most pigmented ever but such a gorgeous muted shade for my skintone.
I am loving the all matte Kat Von D palette, Lady Bird. It is perfect of Fall and the colors are very soft and blend nicely! I also like my Marc Jacobs eyeliner in black (blaquer) and the Hourglass stick concealer.
This is a tough one, but it is probably the Bare Face Cleansing Oil by Julep. My skin has been looking so much better since I started using it.
Armani Maestro Foundation. I LOVE IT. New HG product for me.
Stila’s In the Light palette. It’s my third out of that group of palettes (the one I don’t have is In the Moment, the one with all the purples), and I love all of them. The shadows are easy to work with and the variety of shades is good within each palette. In the Light is the one that contains the Kitten shadow, and until I bought it I was thinking of it as a very metallic/shimmery palette over all. But it also has an amazing matte pink-brown shade that was the reason I finally decided I couldn’t live without it (similar to but darked than UD Laced), a couple of other mattes and some less-shimmery shades to go along with the shiny ones, and since it’s a neutral palette it’s super-versatile. I end up combining it with In the Know (the matte palette) and UD Naked Basics a lot as well as building looks just from In the Light.
oh undoubtedly my Prescriptives custom mixed foundation. That stuff is great.
Too Faced Pretty Rebel Palette!
My favorite purchases have been nars blush in luster, nars radiant creamy concealer and YSL volupte shine #14 — finally a pinky coral that’s not too pink or too coral (though it does make me sad that despite how amazingly moisturizing it feels at first application, it dries out my lips after a few hours, definitely still need to use a balm under this one).
Speaking of which, I lost my tube of jack black lip balm and forget to pick up more when I was at the mall over the weekend; I’m so sad =(
Skincare: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. I had an allergic reaction to a sunscreen and my face was a mess! This stuff was really soothing and didn’t break me out even though it’s quite thick. Highly recommended.
Cosmetics: Dior Addict gloss in Night Fantasy. I’ve started wearing glosses more often, and I really love the color and formula of this one.
Sephora’s Matifiante . Anti-shine Foundation primer
Maybelline Born With it. I only wear nude lips when I do a smokey eye or when I’m working a shift in the IV room (anything with strong color or gloss is a no-go when you have a face mask on 9-9), and this is the perfect pink with just enough sparkle to be unique.
Gorgio Armani Maestro foundation. It’s expensive but I think I’ve finally found my HG foundation! I’m also loving the Armani Rouge Ecstasy lipsticks. So far I’m in love with 600 and 401.
Wet N Wild Fergie Daily Lipstick, NYX Butter Gloss in Maple Blondie and Lancôme Teint Idole Foundation.
my NYX haul I got last week! the Soft Matte Lip Cream is amazing, and I got my first eyeshadow primer which has totally changed my eye makeup game!
naked2 or kat von d’s lipstick in homegirl
homegirl is such a perfect shade. i wear it over any red or burgundy lip liner for an amazing dark lip.
Ysl touche eclat foundatn, pure chromatics palette, givenchy le rouge lstick n kevin aucoin candlelight…
Urban Decay Vice 2 ( so excited!!), Estee Lauder Pure Color lipstick in Raspberry (such a beautiful color), and some Charlotte Tilbury things that I haven’t tried yet, but they look so gorgeous that I am pretty sure I will love them.
Chanel Les Beiges powder. Every time I wear it I get compliments on my healthy glow. Love it!
Urban Decay Revolution lipstick in Venom!
For me it’s been the Bare Minerals Customizable Get Started Kit with Matte Foundation. Contains everything you need to create a flawless look at a good price point.
Another great buy was the Alessandro Striplac. Works like Shellac but you can just move off the coat. Lasts longer than a normal manicure and makes nails “stronger”.
Inglot Freedom System Lipstick #49. It was a risk since I could only find a few swatches and they were on women with completely different complexions. But I went for it and it’s the perfect deep red berry!
Essie Tart Deco. It is MY signature color!
NARS ‘And God Created Woman’ palette. Love it, and love the Pro-Prime that came with it.
Chanel Mat Lumiere Fundation-this stuff is great for my skin! I’m combo-oily and the best part is that it actually works better with my fingers! I do have to wear a primer with it though (to fill in pores)
Hourglass Veil Primer is another newly found HG-I’m pale enough so that it makes me glow without making me look whiter (because I can’t get any whiter.)
and last but not least, Illamasqua Rain Drops nail paint is gorgeous and I love it! Illamasqua nail polish is the ONLY brand that will last more than three days on me without chipping. I have 3 kids and I’m constantly active so its hard to keep nail paint from chipping.
My Hakuhodo eyeshadow brushes, Tom Ford Savage blush, Laura Mercier caviar stick in plum (the most long lasting and pigmented creme eyeshadow ever) and lastly, the MAC Rebecca Moses face kit/eyeshadow palette I bought at Nordstroms in July. It’s a simple, neutral palette and I receive
compliments every time I wear it.
Discovered this combination of Nars eyeshadows (absolutely perfect on my coloring):
Nepal (middle 2/3 of lower lid)
Fez (outer third of lower lid)
Cordura duo, left pan (outer V)
Pretty sure I need look no further!
Chanel Le Volume in Khaki Bronze and the matching Khaki Precieux eyeliner. So good on my fair complexion with blue eyes!
Also, Paula’s Choice Clinical Instant Calm Advanced Redness Relief.
My favorite purchase is Estee Lauder Modern Muse fragrance, its so amazingly modern, sexy and feminine. Not too strong for work but enough punch to make a statement.
Also loving Clinique Black Honey nail polish and Physicians formula BB powder.
RiRi Woo lipglass! I waited all year for it to be released, and I’m so glad it didn’t disappoint! I’m loving it! 🙂
Urban Decay’s Revolution lipstick in Manic. It gives my lips a healthy look of color. I wear it almost daily.
I’m from Brazil and here Nars still sell their cream blushes, so I bought the shade Penny Lane and it’s HG for me! Also I love the Benefit Boing concealer!
Mini duo of NARS Orgasm and Laguna compact was the best this time. Sold out online forever but my local Sephora had one. I love mini sizes of things! I guess I never outgrew thinking they are kawaii. 😉
If I can only choose 1, I will say GIVENCHY Le Rouge in Grenat Initlé
Discovering the brand Rouge Bunny Rouge! And DiorSnow BB cream.
The Guerlain Calligraphy Eye & Lip Palette for 20 euros ( 27$) and some Rouge G 12€ (16$) , Automatiques 8 € (10$) lipsticks in a clearance
Finally got my hands on the Real Techniques Core Collection Brush Set this past weekend & I’m loving them .
They didn’t shed when I washed them & retained their shape after they dried . My fave is the buffing brush . Blends foundation like a dream .
I also picked up Milani’s Color Statement Lipsticks in “Uptown Mauve” & “Sangria”. They’ve been my go-to shades so far this season & I’m in love with the scent . Hehe . 🙂
Hadn’t tried using that brush for foundation. May give it a try tomorrow!
Urban Decay Vice 2….. its stunning!!
I’m getting the Sleek sunset palette for my birthday next week!!! I’m soooo excited!!!
Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks in Jilted and Turn On. I’ve never been into lipstick before because I’ve never had much luck with them. However, these lipsticks have been a total game changer for me as they are incredibly amazing! They do not dry my lips out and they have crazy amazing staying power! I highly recommend them!
anything from dior – skinflash radiance booster pen, the reformulated lipstick, lip liner and the fusion mono eye shadows have all been great buys!!!
Very happy with my MAC cream color base in Pearl, MUFE lipstick in 37 and MAC MSF natural in Light +
