Benefit My Two Cents Creaseless Cream Shadow Review, Photos, Swatches
Benefit My Two Cents Creaseless Cream Shadow
Benefit My Two Cents Creaseless Cream Shadow ($20.00 for 0.16 oz.) is described as a “polished copper.” It’s a muted copper-bronze with a bronze-shimmered frosted finish. Estee Laudewr Chained is similar–slightly warmer. MAC Cactus Thorn is browner. Dior Golden Savannah is less warm. Urban Decay Chase has less copper coloring. bareMinerals Cognac is darker, browner. Wet ‘n’ Wild Comfort Zone #3 is darker, browner.
It had excellent color payoff, and a fantastic consistency that lightweight, creamy, and easy to apply. I had no problems getting opaque color on the lid, and it didn’t fade or crease, even after twelve hours. It’s amazing how two shades can perform so differently, even when applied side-by-side! What’s interesting about this shade is that the more opaque you opt for, the less overtly copper/warm-toned it seems; it gets this golden brown coloring that’s soft and muted. When it’s blended out, the copper-brown coloring comes forth.

I’m a sucker for this kind of shades!
I love this color! It was part of the Most Glamorous Nudes box and I wear it all the time. It’s great sheered out for a wuick looks, and I also LOVE it as a shadow base.
ha…a quick look 🙂
Hi Christine, could you review the Laura’s Luxe Colour Portfolio please? Thanks!
I’m not sure if you reviewed the original ones previously but I was wondering if you’ve noticed any difference in the texture, payoff etc
Hi Shelby,
The only change was in packaging – Benefit did not change the formula.
That’s what I thought, thanks Christine. 🙂
I am in love with this shade! I got in one their neutral eyeshadow kits and I have worn it so many times since. It’s a great color for just a quick and easy look. I’ll have to buy a full size pot when the mini one runs out.
How does this compare to Urban Decay “Smog” from the Naked palette?
Lighter and warmer than Smog!
Christine, are you going to review the new cream shadows from Sigma? I’ve seen some swatches and they look incredible.
No, we don’t currently work with Sigma based on our past experiences with them!
Gosh, I must be the only one on the planet that got the Benefit Most Glamorous Nudes and thought the quality was bad enough to return it…disappointing to find out that everyone else loves it – maybe it was just me.
The first week I had it I was so iffy about it, but I played with it a while and now I love it. It’s my go to for a quick work look.
Maybe you got a dud? It does happen.
How does this look as compared to the discontinued Honey eyeliner from UD?
Honey is much, much more golden!
Is this one similar to the one called “busy signal” in their old packaging?
Busy Signal seemed darker by a fair amount!
Hi Christine is Mac Paint Pot Groundwork similar to this?
Groundwork is darker, I believe!
Ooh very pretty and versatile. I hadn’t seen this color before
I had been wondering whether to try the new Estee Lauder, MAC, or Benefit Cream Shadows and I think this review just sealed the deal: Benefit it is!! 😀 (though MAC does have a shade I am DYING to try–that mauvy-silver one…I wonder if Benefit has a similar shade?)
ALL I CAN SAY IS AYE DIOS MIOS!!! SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL.
wow. that’s very pigmented.
That is cray nice pigmentation! WOW!
I adore this color! It’s in my benefit World Famous Neutrals palette and I can’t stop using it! I’m definitely buying a full size when I finish it! :]
How does this compare to Urban Decay “Smog” from the Naked palette?
Smog is darker, less coppery!
Beautiful color! Would it work with Always a Bridesmaid? I can hardly wait for that to be reviewed. I love anything with a purple or violet cast.
how does this compare with Mac’s indianwood paint pot?? 🙂
I think Indianwood is a bit browner 🙂
