The Sultry Season: Benefit Ms. Behavin’ Lipstick Lipstick

Benefit Ms. Behavin’ Lipstick ($18.00 for oz.) is creamy mulberry in their Silky Finish line-up.  It’s a reddened berry with dark fuchsia micro-shimmer.  It has a very glaze-like finish–it’s got that look of a sheer lipstick, but it’s not that sheer (though it’s not opaque!).  There’s a nice natural glossiness to the lipstick as well, so it can be worn alone without looking dry.  I find Benefit’s Silky Finish lipsticks are moisturizing, lightweight, and comfortable to wear.

Is this the right berry for you? Would you wear it?

The Sultry Season is a series of posts featuring deep, rich shades of brown, berry, plum, and wine lipsticks and lipglosses — just right for autumn — that runs through October 2010.

I got this because this is what they used on Edward in Twilight. I’m a big fan. I didn’t like it that much at first but i totally love it now.

How come this is the same color they used on Edward in twilight :S … its very Dark and shinny, his lips was light rose & matte looked 😀 … i’m confused, where did u read this ?

Is this lipstick newly released? Because I read somewhere that Benefit Ms. Behavin was used a lot on the Twilight set, especially for Kristen and Robert’s make-up. which was back in… 2008? Or maybe I’m just confusedb

I’ve almost bought this lipstick but found many reviews saying that it doesn’t last long on lips which detered me from it. I like lipstick that doesn’t dry out my lips but not one which needs to be re-applied every 1-2 hours.

The finish of this lipstick is SO incredibly gorgeous. I can’t believe it’s only $18! I need to go look this up- Thanks, Christine! 🙂
