that Sweet Box of Blushes looks like it could be a cute gift for a younger woman/teen just getting into makeup but it is sort of useless for someone who might need to carry her “stuff” with her. I saw a youtube on the Advent Calendar and, to be honest, it seems like a bit of a rip off for a few trial sizes (‘deluxe’ or not!) and a bunch of hair elastics! Some of the other sets look like they’d make good gifts or perhaps even “gift to self” products if they’re things you use – the liners, for example, or the Rockitude set but for me, these are all “nope”, both for myself or for gifting.

Blush box is a great present for a teen or young woman. (This oldster has ’em all…) Blush is benefit’s strength + this is a cute presentation. ( I miss Georgia.) Remember, ladies, that the small sized ‘tints’ have only a very few applications: they’re mega tiny and tres sheer. Guess this is the year for advent calendars. Nice!

xamyx Avatar

Ditto! Only, in my case, the “cutesie” packaging always turns me off… However, although the packaging on the blush set is horrible, at $36 I’m seriously considering it. I’ve been wanting to try 4/6 for a while now, and they’re actually a decent size (considering I have sooo many cheek products already! ).

Karen Avatar

The blushes could be deported into a z palette. (Which is what I’m considering if I were to get this one). I’ve also been wanting to try these blushes for a while now. I only have a deluxe sample of Bella Bomba which I depotted into a z palette.

Jessica Avatar

I must have the box o blushes it is the perfect opportunity to try almost all of their blushes without committing to paying full price for just one, i did visit the sephora website but they dont have it available yet 🙁 for the price this shows to be a must have for me 😀

Allie Avatar

Ordered Cheeky Sweet Spot yesterday! Excited to get it! I think it’s a great deal considering s regular box of powder is $28! The only thing is the packaging, I won’t want it in that box once the holidays are over.

Ginny Avatar

These look fun! Now this blush box I would definitely be into. I’d actually be able to use them all (Hoola is iffy), even the highlighter. Dandelion is great for fair skin.

Jenny Cupcakes Avatar

I hate Benefit’s idea of a deluxe sample. Two instances I have experienced personally are the PosieBalm in Sephora’s Give Me More Lip set and their deluxe sample of Fake Up. These are literally only as long as my pinky nail. They are so stingy.

Also – a hair tie? In a $100 set? This must be one of those “holiday pranks” I’ve heard so much about.

THAT BLUSH SET!!!!!

I think it was sometime last fall there was a daily question about creating a beauty product or palette or something and I said I would love to have a Benefit blush palette!!!! My dreams have come true! 😀

This looks a little bulkier than a palette, but that’s fine by me! I’m so getting that!

Jessica Avatar

Le sigh, I really hate holiday collections. Great value + Minis + Varitety = Jessica’s ideal type..

I guess I can continue to lust over everything you post onto here Christine *_* looll

Lizzi Avatar

Whoa! They did an advent calendar last year. It was $60 or $65 I think. $99 for this years is a huge jump, not to mention I don’t think a bunch of mini is worth that price tag.

Kelsey Avatar

Interesting how Benefit’s discontinued Bella Bamba (I think!), yet they’ve included it in the box powder set. What a clever way to get people to buy it!

Jenn Avatar

Ordered the sephora favorites give me more lip and fell in love with their posie balm (even with the super tiny amount they gave us) so I really wish there was a kit with just those, even just the deluxe samples. Not a fan of cheek tints…barely use the MUFE cream blush I bought even though it’s very pretty.

Meghan Avatar

I love the idea of blush palettes like this one… If only I could make myself buy things during the holiday collection releases & not throughout the rest of the year! I think value sets are really great, and I need to be more conscious that buying options are ramped up in the autumn!

joann Avatar

Hey,
So in your professional opinion which blush palette is better in selection and quality, the tarte pin up or benefits cheeky sweet ? Can make up my mind on which to buy. I dont have any blushes from either brand.

Meghan Avatar

I like both brands for blushes, but I think I would go with the Benefit ones only because I didn’t really like the swatches so much for this year’s Tarte holiday blush release.

Like Christine said, it would more depend on whether the quality of the Benefit ones were consistent – hopefully they are! Rockateur, Dallas & Coralista are a few of my very favourite & repurchased blushes.

Sandy Avatar

It’s official…I will be poor this Holiday season. All those brands (Too Faced, Tarte, Benefit etc) are coming out with the cutest and greatest value packaging…That blush palette and lip balms are eyeing me…It’s almost a torture for my wallet (and my eyes) haha
Anyone feels the same ??

Eliz Avatar

Fun sets! The Cheeky Sweet Spot Box O’Blushes looks especially interesting, including watt’s up in a little pan. I wish each blush lived in its own little box as I don’t have room for the whole candy store. Super-cute, but not practical packaging for my needs. Also, I see Dandelion on the top left, but it is not listed in Benefit’s description. Hat’s off to Benefit though for including almost all of their blushes in one set. My daughter is 13 and just getting into makeup – this may actually be a sweet set for her as she doesn’t have any blushes of her own yet. Alright, the candy store may be coming to my house after all.

Sae Avatar

Not gonna lie, kinda wish they put in hervana instead of sugarbomb for the box o’ blushes but I’m sure it’s because they tried to stay with similar color families perhaps

Dylan Avatar

100 dollars for a giant box of samples? count me out haha. cute idea, not worth the price. i could see selling it for 50, but 100 is a joke. also, the box of blushes is kind of a waste too because 3 of the blushes are very peach and close to each other in colour.

Emilie Avatar

I like the idea of the Cheeky Sweet Spot set, but ew, that packaging! I love glamorous holiday sets, but I really don’t like holiday releases that are very clearly decorated for Christmas, it totally puts me off (kind of like wearing your candy-cane decorated pajama bottoms in March, you know what I mean? Just feels wrong.) Packaging doesn’t look very practical there either. Bummer, I might’ve snatched that one up in a moment if it was a little less Christmassy and more travel-friendly.

Rachel R. Avatar

How cool is that box of blushes? I’d depot into a Zpalette, though. The packaging is cute, but too bulky. I only have Dandelion right now, so this would be a great way to try their other stuff. I’ve heard great things about Coralista.

I have no interest in the advent calender. A bunch of samples for $99?! What were they thinking?

Grace Avatar

Ooh interested in the Blush palette too.. was just wondering the other day why there aren’t as many Blush palettes out there like eyeshadows.. just wish Dallas was included in the set.

Cat Avatar

Ahhhh!!! That Box O’ Blushes has my name ALL OVER IT! 😀 I don’t own very many blushes (just not my thing) so I need those to help build up my collection! I will, however, allow it to be put away and saved for Christmas. Knowing it’s in the house somewhere without getting my paws on it, however, might be a bit rough… but I’m willing to endure the agony. 😉

Helene Avatar

I must say I’m interested in the blush box. I only have Hoola. But I also want the blush trio from Hourglass, AND I have a lot of blushes already. Guess I’ll just have to do a pro/con list soon 🙂

Pattsy Avatar

I’m really disappointed to see that the advent calendar has more non-cosmetic products this year. I bought last year’s Countdown to Love advent calendar and the non-cosmetic products (I think there were three: a hair pin, and two pieces of “jewellery) were absolute junk! Really, really awful quality. I found last year’s to be a good introduction to their range, getting to try out a variety of Benefit’s products without the full price commitment was good, and having products that were travel sized at my disposal actually came in handy. I’m glad to see they’ve changed up some of the products for this year though, but it’s really not worth the $99 price tag in my opinion.

The blush box is such a cute idea though! Although I already own most of those so I probably won’t be buying it.

Wendy Avatar

PLEASE where can I get the blushes palette in France? I don’t think it’s coming out on the sephora.fr website. I’m desperate 🙁 🙁 🙁

Tamara Avatar

Does anyone if/when these will be released on the benefit website? I so very want the blush palette and i’m having all sorts of problems with Sephora at the moment
