Becca Pearl Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Review, Photos, Swatches
Becca Pearl Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured
Becca Pearl Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured ($38.00 for 0.19 oz.) is described as a “white pearl.” It’s a neutral-to-cool-toned, shimmery white with a luminous finish. Cle de Peau Pastel (11) (P, $55.00) is less shimmery, powder. Chanel Poudre Signee de Chanel Illuminating Powder (LE, $68.00) is warmer, powder. Chanel Lumiere Sculptee de Chanel Highlighting Powder (LE, $72.00) is less shimmery, powder. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
The formula was lightweight, thin, and lightly emollient; it spread and blended well on the skin, but it didn’t feel wet or tacky so it is less prone to disturbing base products, if you use it on top of other products. I tested and wore it over bare skin per usual, and it works wonderfully that way, along with over and under foundation. This is a shade more suitable for lighter skin tones, especially if you want to wear it at a higher opacity as it does have a stronger white base. It highlights and adds a very soft shimmer-sheen to the skin without adding color nor does it emphasize pores. It could also be used to lighten and add luminosity to a more matte cream blush. The color coverage was mostly opaque–less pigmented compared to other shades I’ve reviewed–but has the same blendability, so it can be applied heavily or easily sheered out. If you prefer a sheerer look, lightly tap onto cheeks with fingertips or a stippling brush. It wore well for eight hours before fading.

Love it. Must have.
Yay!
This is beautiful! I love silvery highlighters! I kind of wish they had this in powder form. I never have patience with cream highlighters. I have the chanel camelia de plumes and I love it but I still feel like it has some apparent shimmer that the becca ones really don’t seem to have.
Let’s hope they do!
I would love this in powder form! They do have it in the liquid formula as well.
L’Oreal Magic Lumi primer I used as a highlighter for years (until it went bad. lol ) for that bright glow.
I wish cream products weren’t such a no-no for me because I really like this color! I wish they would release it in the pressed powder collection too.
I hope they’ll consider it!
The Pressed version contains mineral oil, so if that’s a concern, it may not be the best choice, either…
That’s not my issue, but thanks for the head’s up!
Cream products for some reason just always end up flaking and looking gross/caked on, no matter how thin or sheer I apply them.
This shade gives you such a health glow!
Thank you!
This will be finding it’s way to me! Hopefully, it won’t be as elusive as Moonstone, which took 6 months to finally track down…
Hope you can find this one more readily!
I have enough gold highlighters, so I’m really interested in this one. I too wish they would do it pressed.
Maybe they will after they see how popular the cream is!
Great review, Becca is one of my favorite brands! I wish more bloggers reviewed their products, thanks for a thorough and honest review 🙂 <3
They have some nice products!
You look just gorgeous, although I can’t say I’ve ever seen a photo of you where you looked anything but lovely! But this just looks like it just gives you a natural glowing sheen and you can’t pinpoint whether it’s any particular product, it’s so subtle on your cheeks.
Do you think it’d be okay as an all-over luminizer for those of us who hate sparkling? I’ve been trying to find a product to add a subtle brightness to my whole face without looking obviously glittery/having little pinpicks of light flash when moving around in direct sunlight, but it’s been a trickier mission than I thought!
Hey GG!
Have you tried a liquid luminizer? Becca makes this in a liquid form, which works really well mixed with moisturizer or liquid foundation!
This looks super pretty, sounds like it has an interesting texture!
It’s very easy to use!
that looks like a great highlighter!
It works well on light skin tones!
I love how this one looks a little silvery.
Me too! Very few like it.
I don’t like highlighters (I know, I must be crazy) this does swatch pretty…. but I still don’t like how highlighter looks (on anyone). But, thats just me!
Say it isn’t so! You’re breaking my highlighter lovin’ heart!
This looks beautiful. Added myself to the waitlist at Sephora!
Yayyyy!
Yeah, I might have to break down and get this. I have the bottle version but sometimes it is too clunky to carry with you when you travel.
I bet you’ll love it!
Oh, my! This is swoon-worthy. I wish there were a powder version. I’d splurge on that.
Time to start a campaign for it, I think!
i love Becca! I have all the other ‘highlighters’, pressed and liquid. The last item I bought was the lowlight/highlight combo which also includes a pourrred highlighter…. I cannot figure out what color this is, do you maybe knie that? As I live in The Netherlands we do not have a Becca counter here So everything is bought online…
I think Becca said it was Opal in the combo!
I read somewhere it was an “exclusive” shade, but I can’t recall the name, or where I found it (I was looking up what the “Poured” formula actually was), but it wasn’t listed as Opal. However, from what I could tell when I swatched it in-store, it did look alot like Opal.
Becca posted two pics of their duos – one was Opal and one was Quartz, I think!
Thanx so much for the info
It’s so beautiful, Christine! Thank you for the review 🙂
No prob, Sara!
I agree with the others – I would have preferred it in powder form but oh my, I love these type of white based highlighters. Sometimes I feel like I’m so over the champagne and beige. This is beautiful!
It does make me curious why there isn’t a powder option (since the other shades do have them!).
Love this! I’m very fair and sometimes highlighters that lean gold or pink tend to be super noticeable on me, like my face is dirty. Always looking for a good white or silver highlighter!
Will definitely be buying this one!
I think this will be lovely for you, Hanna!
Your skin looks so luminous!
Thank you! 🙂
Pretty, but I’ll stick with my MAC Cream Color Base in Luna.
Glad you have something that you like instead!
I’ll probably pick this up when I run out of the Spotlight liquid one.
Awesome 😀
Reminds me of Mac’s colour care blend Luna.
I could see Luna being similar!
Hmm..you say this is for” lighter skin tones”. I have ordered all but this one because it went out of stock. How do you feel about this on your skin tone?
I’d rather use one of the others, personally! This one I have to be careful with – it can totally work, but just a little more work/patience. I also like that with the other shades I can use them from sheer to opaque, but this I don’t like on me at more than sheer-semi-sheer coverage.
Thanks for your honesty and saving me some $ and time stalking Sephora’s site waiting to get it. It sold out in the store store I found out yesterday when I popped in too. But,it was in back still and they had no tester since it is still for VIB’s only. I do have one of the little spotlights that I wear here and there(so many highlighters, not enough days)!. But the liquid is more sheer as you have mentioned and I do tend to sheer those out to a very subtle “what highlighter??” look!LOl. Man, It is so pretty, it almost makes me wish I could change my skin tone from day to day so i could wear Pearl one and Topaz the other, lol! it does look pretty on you. but, like I have said, I think you could smear mud on your face and look pretty!
My pleasure, Nicole!! 🙂
I think this is too white for me, but it’s an option for fairer skintones . Becca seems to be knocking it out of the ballpark with their highlighters –they have so many colors, formats (cream, powder, tube) and they seem to perform well
They’ve done a really nice job of being pretty consistent!
Lovely!!!
Have you grabbed any of the Poured versions, Megan?
This product is much more suitable for fair complexions. But I wonder whether I would really use it. Hmm a beauty conundrum.
Yes, definitely! I think it is particularly great for anyone who wants the sheen but finds most highlighters also add some color.
I would love to see this compared to its liquid form and other new highlighters like Clinique’s new chubby stick and the MUFE pro sculpting duo in 1. I’ll probably still get the Clinique one because it’s less time consuming to use.
Hi Ammara,
Unfortunately, I don’t own all of the products, so I did buy the ones I was missing from Becca, but they aren’t here and it will take me sometime to pull everything together for a comparison. My apologies!
Oh, that’s perfectly alright! I was just listing the new highlighters I’ve seen becoming popular.
🙂
Squeeee!
I take it you like 😉
This is going to be so beautiful on lighter complexions!
Agreed!
I like the idea of this more than the liquid version!
Woohoo!!
YESSSS! A silver highlighter! I have Moonstone, which is nice, but I’m so pale it shows up as super yellow. If I’m going for a cooler look, it clashes. I really wish this were in pressed (I get zits when I apply cream to my cupid’s bow)
but I’m willing to try it, once it comes in stock again.
I hope they’ll do a pressed sometime!
I prefer a cream highlighter since my skin is so dry. This looks right up my alley!
Yay!
I’m soooooooooooo sad this is a cream. This is my dream shade of highlighter but creams do not work for me at all. Maybe it’s better this way so I’ll save my money.
Awww!
I think you may have a small error under the makeup look.. it says that you’re wearing Becca Opal Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured but it’s actually Pearl. Hth! 🙂
Thank you!
I love Becca products but I already have the Hourglass ambient lighting powder, I wonder if this product is similar.
This is a lot more shimmery!
Is this close to the Mac Cream Colour Base in Pearl? Has anyone tried/compared them? Much appreciated!!
Probably clsoer to Luna, I think!
I like that it is a lighter version of a highlighter – will not overdo the sheen with rushed application.
Very true!
Beautiful! I think I may need this.
Woohoo! 🙂
Uhhhh *______*
How does this compare to the cream color base in Luna by Mac?
I think Luna might be warmer.
This sounds very interesting, specially for travelling! I really want to try Becca Highlighters, but I think I’ll go for the liquid ones first.
Good call! 🙂
