I always love how clean and sleek Bareminerals palettes look. It’s so sad that I don’t have access to the brand here 🙁
I like the colors very much but they are not avaible in Germany, therefore I can’t buy these beautiful palettes and that makes me angry!
Beautyful palettes with very nice colors! Love it!
I’m a total sucker for Bare Minerals 8-pan Ready palettes (and for the Ready shadows generally). A lot of folks are probably getting so tired of all these “naked/neutral/bare-@ss” themed palettes and while I sure don’t need another one (despite wanting some of those new Hourglass ones and a whole lot of others), I will probably try to pass on these two.
Is it insane that I want both even though I already have Naked 3 and the IT Naturally Pretty palette?
Not insane at all – I have both Naked1 and 2 as well as Naked2Basics and Naked on the Run, as well as TheBalm’s Nude Tude and Bare Minerals The Power Neutrals (not to mention a lot of palettes without “nude/naked” in their name) and I want these too!
Dang, I like the looks of both of these, but they are LE…. still like the Sexy Neutrals one.
After seeing the pics and reading the name of the shadows, I thought they looked and sounded familiar.
So I compared Sexy Neutrals to the Nude Beach palette, and five of the eight shades are the same!
Then I compared the Posh Neutrals to the Affair to Remember palette, and six of those eight shades are the same!
Thankfully, I just saved myself from spending $80 ($40 for each) on basically dupe palettes.
They should make some of these larger palettes permanent. 😉
Oh I have to get both of these now since I missed out on Nude Beach and Affair to Remember. I kept waiting for them to be able at bare minerals boutiques or website, that didn’t happen. I hate paying the shipping prices through qvc.
I’m interested in posh..Will you be reviewing either of these? Never tried a BM shadow. Wondering how they perform.
Christine, I hope you get a chance to review these, I really like the look of the Posh Neutrals palette. I only recently purchased the 8.0 Power of Neutrals palette, about half of which is cool and the other half not overly warm, and it’s working really well for me for setting off my brightly colored shadows — the quality of the eyeshadows is really there — a second, similar-but-different, mostly cool neutral palette (that’s not loaded with pinks) would be great to have.
It’s only early January, and I think these are the 10th set of neutral palettes I’ve seen launched for spring. Sure, some lovely light colors here but ….when will this ever stop???
Neutral palettes have been around for *years*, loooong before UD decided to capitalize on the idea. I think most people simply never noticed until UD did the marketing, and named their product line “Naked”. If you go back 10, 15, even 20 years, you’ll find neutral/nude palettes from every brand, season, collection… My point is, people obviously want these, or they wouldn’t sell. Also, keep in mind most people have one or two palettes, and perhaps a few singles/duos that they use exclusively, and they do run out of product, which then needs to be replaced.
On the one hand, FINALLY a true cool neutrals palette. On the other, ANOTHER release of neutrals palettes?
I agree – way too many neutrals lately. But not enough cool toned ones.
I need The Posh!!
I’m not feeling either one. I haven’t been feeling a lot of spring makeup thought!
I’d have to see actual swatches of the second palette, but from what I can tell from the promo pic, there doesn’t seem to be much variation in tone…
they both look too pastel and matte to me. I don’t know how exactly they would turn out but my application of pastel/spring colors has to be shimmered or a little bit metallic, otherwise they don’t look flattering on me.
Fuji, my thoughts exactly!
The Posh Neutrals one is interesting – I wonder how the colours will swatch up… 🙂 I’m hoping it will be less ‘neutral’ in terms of colour than the other one based on the promo image, although the shade description contrasts a little with that…
I like the Posh Neutrals palettes, with it’s tinges of violet, green, peach and pink.
The Sexy Neutrals looks very nice, but I’ve got more than enough of those kinds of shades.
I love that one of the palettes seems cool-toned! Can’t wait for your swatches, Christine. 🙂
Not that we need any more neutrals on the market, but the Posh Neutrals look as if they could be cool toned. YAY – I love bareMinerals products.
I love the bareMinerals ready eyeshadow formula. I have the the Power Neutrals palette and it’s really great for all sorts of looks. 🙂
I always find the bareminerals eyeshadow promo images difficult to decipher. The way the shimmer is depicted always makes the colors look like pastels to me. I’ll have to wait to see these in person but they look promising!
Oooooh pretty! I need a new neutrals palette so will
wait for Christine’s reviews and decide which will
suit my colouring best. Have been wanting to try this
eyeshadow formula!
The palette looks beautiful with gorgeous shades.. I liked Sexy more 🙂
Weird how pricey things seem when they’re sold in a palette like this. Each shade is no more expensive than a Colourpop single when priced out, yet I probably still wouldn’t buy these. I guess it’s because I don’t get to pick each shade and I’d so end up with ones I’d never use.
look like they’d be chalky
Love the natural shades
I am THRILLED about the release of the Sexy Neutrals Palette!!!!! I’ve been desperately wanting the Nude Beach palette for 7 months (never got it in time last summer) and it looks like they recycled 4 of the shades, kept a similar vibe, and even improved it! Glad there’s a darker shade for more contouring.. It looks absofreakin GORGEOUS! I can’t wait. Looking forward to swatching this.
are you going to be doing swatches of these palettes?
