I apply with a stippling brush first, and then I’ll work the color along the cheeks. To blend out the edges, I will use my fingertips or a rounded face brush.

I love my cream blushes and how it’s so easy to use. I normally use my fingers to apply and blend it. Occasionally I’ll use a stippling brush if I have it handy though:)
I use the real techniques stipple brush and stipple it on the apples of my cheeks and then use a beauty blender to blend towards my temples.
I usually just use my fingers! Part of why I’m a convert of cream product is the fact that brushes are optional.
With my RT buffing brush. Stipple it on (Not outside the blush area) then buff it into my skin in an outwards motion to blend it out. I do this as fast as I can before it dries. I repeat if I want more colour. It’s uneven if I use my finger tips (I don’t think I can ever master that technique, boo).
I use my ring finger to tap the blush on in a wedge shape, with the larger side of the wedge starting underneath the outer corner of my eye and tapering off towards the top of my ear.
I dab it on with a finger-tip and then blend with a stippling brush or the RT buffing brush.
With a stippling brush.
MAC 130 short duo fibre brush. I start at the highest point of my cheekbone so I’m depositing the heaviest concentration of colour in the right spot and then very gently buff in small circles to blend out in a bit of a c-shape just on cheekbone. The 130 brush makes easy work of it IMO.
I use my fingers to apply. I find that warms up the product for even distribution.
I use a stippling brush to apply and blend. I find that using my fingers does work better but I despise putting my fingers all over my freshly made face lol
Apply it with my Hourglass number 3 brush, and work whatever needs to be blended out after that with my finger.
I always apply with my fingers! Once in a while, I’ll blend out with my Beauty Blender, but mostly fingers.
I use my fingers.
Fingers or Real Techniques stippling brush. If it’s a stick, straight from the stick, then blending with fingers or brush.
I prefer to use a stippling brush initially. Then I spread it out with my finger tips or damp beauty blender.
My only cream blush is the Nars Multiple, which is a stick. I roll it directly on the apple of my cheek, then blend in with a Beauty Blender. Easy easy!
I use the elf small stipple brush. It just does the work for me.
I apply with a paddle brush, then buff it out with a buffing brush, which depends upon which blush I’m using. The Real Techniques Expert Face Brush is the one I use most often, though!
with my fingertips, just tap tap tap tap so i don’t disturb the foundation underneath
I use the $3 elf small stippling brush, I usually stipple on the back of my hand first in case I have too much product on the brush, then stipple on my face! I first deposit the color where I want the most concentration, then stipple around to blend!
But, I’m going to try using my RT stippling brush for my cream blushes since I don’t really love that one for foundation, thanks for the ideas ladies!
Badly
I don’t 🙁 I hate cream face products other than foundation and eyeshadows
But if I did I’d use a blush brush
With my fingers. For me it’s the easiest, quickest and most efficient way.
i own a bunch of illamasqua cream blushes i have only ever used one and i ended up looking like a clown…they kind of made me steer clear of them….they are way over pigmented!
Just with my fingers.
Stipple brush – usually wind up blending with fingers
