Anastasia Sateen Eyeshadow ($12.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a light-medium, golden peach with warm undertones and a frosted finish. It had good pigmentation with a soft, lightly dusty consistency that was very blendable without fall out, despite being a smidgen on the drier side. It wore well for seven and a half hours before fading noticeably on me. ColourPop Diamond Cut (PiP, $4.50) is less shimmery, cooler (95% similar). Anastasia 10K Eyeshadow ($12.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a muted, medium gold with brown tones and a frosted sheen. It had semi-sheer color payoff with a thin, dusty texture that tended to sheer out when applied without a primer or base for it to latch onto. It was very blendable, but again, it would always sheer out and getting true-to-pan color was difficult. On me, it lasted for six and a half hours before fading. Tom Ford Beauty Young Adonis (Eye Color) (LE, ) is more shimmery (90% similar). Cle de Peau Golden Lace #4 (LE, ) is more shimmery, darker (90% similar). Anastasia Blazing Eyeshadow ($12.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a medium-dark, coppery brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had rich color payoff with a silky-smooth, blendable texture that wasn’t too firm or too soft in the pan. The color started to fade slightly after eight hours of wear. Makeup Geek Sidekick (DC, $6.00) is lighter (95% similar). Chanel Candeur et Experience #3 (PiP, ) is darker, cooler (90% similar). Make Up For Ever M738 Auburn (DC, $21.00) is lighter (90% similar). Viseart Terracotta (Siren #5) (P, ) is lighter, brighter (85% similar). Make Up For Ever M738 Auburn (P, $17.00) is brighter (85% similar). Anastasia Comfort Eyeshadow ($12.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a medium-dark bronzy brown with warm, coppery undertones and a frosted finish. FORMULA OVERVIEW | Anastasia Eyeshadow ($12.00 for 0.06 oz.) is supPosed to be a “finely-milled, highly-pigmented” powder eyeshadow. The brand has a large range of individual eyeshadows that are available as pan-only (no compact to hold them); if you purchase four, you’ll get a 4-well plastic palette for $40 ($10 per eyeshadow), or purchase eight and get an 8-well cardboard palette for $70 ($8.75 per eyeshadow) (the 8-pan is only available directly from the brand). On average, the formula is semi-opaque to opaque, lightly dusty to buttery, wears seven to nine hours, and is fairly blendable. The Metallic and Titanium finishes seem to be the best-performing to me, but there are some really standout mattes and shimmers as well. I find the more recently released shades to be better-performing compared to Anastasia eyeshadows I tried two or three years ago. The wear varies between six and eight hours with decent to good application over bare skin (no primer).

I love this eye look! I have dupes for these shades thankfully. But, I love the way you do your eyes! I’m so happy you have not jumped on the Instagram band wagon so I don’t feel like I have to wear a full on cat eye every moment of my life! lol. Props to those that can get that done. But, I’m not one of them. This look is so summery and boho to me. I screened shot it! Lol! Xo

Christine, I wonder, have you written or plan on writing a post about the refillable palette by itself? I’m just curious about the dimensions, if the “face” is removable, how it stands to a drop test, etc.
