Ace Beaute 15-Pan Eyeshadow Palette Swatches (Reformulation)
Ace Beaute recently reformulated their eyeshadows, and though I swatched the original formula, I never ended up reviewing it (I wasn’t super happy with the original performance and had higher priority things to review, so they just kept falling to the end of my review queue, so-to-speak). Here are swatches of three of their reformulated 15-pan palettes!
So happy to see you swatch Oceanic! It’s such a beautiful palette and one of my favorites.
Oceanic has been on my radar for long time befor realing that I’d wear those kind of hue too seldom to justify an other palette. In the meanwhile, my obsession fir eyeshadow palette has cooled down. Now I am much more critique on my purchase, which are more targeted. I’ve also learnt to enjoy what I’ve already have. Nevetheless, I am curious to know Christine’s opinion about that palette! Regarding the other two, the first seems mildly interesteng. I think I’d never see it before. However, having a warm olive complexion, I don’t think that warm green are the best for me. Not enough constrast. Instead, I’ve heard a lot about flair, is quite famous and generally appreciate all around, but the colour story doesn’t make me crazy.
I remember buying one of their bundles and blending the eyeshadows and watched them disappear. Terrible! I was so upset because the colors were so pretty in the pan
I have Oceanic from several years ago. It’s not horrible with the shimmers, and a few of the mattes, but this looks like the mattes are better than the previous iteration.
The one I’m eyeing for a future purchase is Flair, which looks much improved upon. Would make for a fun summer palette!
Quite vibrant shades, but waaay too many mattes here for me. I think the swatches are indicating that the formula this time round is much better. It’s good to see a brand reformulate when their original offering was sub par.
Did they reformulate all of their palettes? There was one with a cool toned purple and gray color story that would catch my attention every time I saw it but I heard the formula was bad so I skipped. If it’s better across the board and all of the palettes have been switched to the new one, I may grab it
The Tropical Vibes palette is so gorgeous–the greens are warm and dreamy! Although $39 is not much, I just wish the price was closer to that of ColourPop.
These look amazing, and since they’re currently running a 30% off sale, it’s hard for me to resist picking them up! Thanks so much for swatching the new formulation.
Wanted Oceanic for awhile, but Tropical Vibes has now peaked my interest as I never purchased ABH Subculture (as much as I wanted it, but when I had a test drive of it, it just didn’t look at all flattering on me), so perhaps this more warm and fruity version would work. Hmmm???
