Moira Atlas, Chroma, Phoenix Multichrome Gel Liners Reviews & Swatches
Atlas
Moira Atlas Supernova Multichrome Gel Liner ($6.00 for 0.01 oz.) is a soft, black-based base multichrome eyeliner that shifted from olive green to copper to pinky-purple, though it was a very weak shift.
- Semi-sheer pigmentation, hard to build up evenly
- Emollient, smooth, creamy–seemed too creamy for an even application
- Weaker multichrome shift
- Pencil prone to smushing and pushing around product when building
- Long-wearing (8.5 hours before thinning visibly)

Formula Overview
$6.00/0.01 oz. - $600.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "waterproof, smudge-proof, and transfer-resistant" with a "creamy texture." There did not seem to be a specific indication of pigmentation, but the promotional swatches make them appear opaque, which is typical for eyeliner. This is a multichrome finish-based formula, though I found that some shades had less obvious shifts and appeared more like good duochromes than decent multichromes as a result.
The texture felt smooth, lightly creamy, and comfortable to work with as it glided across my skin, but it did not deliver smooth results as the product itself often bunched up in places and did not build up well. I felt like, overall, it was a bit too emollient. I'd recommend using a stiff pencil brush to blend and smooth out the eyeliner after the initial laydown of product.
Most shades had more semi-sheer to medium coverage, which often did not build up that well as additional layers pushed around the first layer and resulted in an uneven result. They took a bit longer than average to dry down, but once they did, they were fairly long-wearing at 8-9 hours on me.

Chroma
Moira Chroma Supernova Multichrome Gel Liner ($6.00 for 0.01 oz.) had more of a translucent base with multichrome pearl that shifted from warm pink to greenish-gold to bluish-green, though the blue was very hard to detect so it was more like a strong duochrome in practice.
- Medium pigmentation, hard to build up evenly
- Emollient, smooth, creamy–seemed too creamy for an even application
- Weaker multichrome shift
- Pencil prone to smushing and pushing around product when building
- Long-wearing (8.5 hours before thinning visibly)

Aww, man. Looks like it might be easier to just use a multichrome shadow with mixing medium.
For inner corner highlight: Chroma and Phoenix are it for me and my older lids. Enough to brighten up the corner, but not so shifty that it looks crepey, either.
Despite the lackluster reviews, I think I’m going to give these a shot. I’ll just try different things until something works.
I think multichromes are hard enough to make well when they are in a shadow formula, perhaps it is too much of a leap to create one in a gel liner. The shade colours are pretty, but I just don’t think this is going to work.
I have chroma and phoenix and I love both of them.
I’ve got all of these and also all of the DM ones. The only ones worth the money are the Kaleidos ones IMO.
