MAC Deep Rosy Sunstruck Matte Bronzer Review & Swatches
Deep Rosy
MAC Deep Rosy Sunstruck Matte Bronzer ($35.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a medium, reddish-brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. While it’s technically the same “depth” in name as the Golden version, it was noticeably darker as well.
- Medium, buildable pigmentation (as marketed)
- Lightweight, thin, slightly dry feel
- Applied and blended out fairly well
- Long-wearing (9 hours before fading) but not 24-hours as marketed

Formula Overview
$35.00/0.28 oz. - $125.00 Per Ounce
The formula is described as a "buildable and blendable creamy powder" that will add "warmth and depth" that won't fade and is "colour-true" for 24-hours, while it won't settle or crease for 12-hours. It is touted as waterproof and sweat- and humidity-resistant.
The consistency was lightweight, thin, and a little on the drier side, but the powders blended out surprisingly well over bare skin and on less matte base products. The pigmentation was medium and buildable, as marketed, and I felt like it was easy to control how much I wanted, while the coverage layered well. It was a very matte powder, though, and it looked somewhat flat on my skin.
I typically get around eight hours of wear out of more powder-based products like blush, bronzer, and so on, and these lasted around nine hours before fading noticeably and seemed to fade more slowly compared to many powders I've tried, but 24-hour wear is a stretch.

I was REALLY hoping that this shade would be a great dupe for UD Jawbone, but the latter is quite a degree cooler than Deep Rosy.
