So… “shimmers” equals “glitter” here? Bummer.
At this point they should just rebrand themselves as Naked Cosmetics, because they put Naked on almost every single release that isn’t All-Nighter. Let it go, it’s not a franchise worth saving.
Hope springs eternal. UD has been hit and miss. Might work for me as I like the colors, but a bit apprehensive.
Pretty! But of all the names they could have given this palette, they chose to beat the same old dead horse.
What is Naked about this?
I actually really hate how far they’ve strayed on this concept…
Well, there are two or three shades that could qualify. 😀
I was actually thinking the same.
And yes, I don’t like the Naked everything either.
Sigh. We know the quality won’t be there right? Otherwise, this looks interesting – just vibrant enough to be different, but shades realistic for me to use.
Oh Urban Decay…what has become of you? This does not look like a Naked series palette. It doesn’t even look like an Urban Decay palette — I initially thought it was RImmel or some other drugstore brand. I don’t understand the color story and I really hate the advertising copy (Martian mattes)? I admit I don’t know who Robin Eisenberg is so I can safely assume that I am not the demographic for whom this is intended.
She’s an illustrator/jack-of-all-trades artist according to Wikipedia. A lot of her work has a galactic/outer space/pop art alien theme, so the copy and color story make sense. It’s just baffling that UD decided to make it a Naked palette and not just “Robin Eisenberg x UD,” since her aesthetic is the farthest from the original Naked concept you can get.
This is really pretty. I like the illustration a lot!
What part of this even begins to approach “Naked” here? Would have LOVED to have seen a Vice Palette (with the OG Vice level QUALITY) in this color scheme, though. However, the artwork on the palette is stunning! Hopefully, this one is better in action than I fear.
I’m not familiar with this influencer, but the packaging is awesome. I like the color story. If it reviews well, I might get it when it goes on half off in a few weeks.
I think it’s a naked palette for the alien ladies on the cover…
Good point! I came here to say what everyone else said – “What is NAKED about this?” but you are right. That’s clever! I do love the colours and their names so maybe I will get it when it goes on sale like Rachel R., haha!
Yes, that was always my first thought and fun way to switch up the naked line!
I kept reading the title as “Robin Easteregg” and couldn’t figure out why they’d put out a spring-y palette for the holidays (at least here in North America). 🤦♀️
Very cool they’re collaborating with an artist and doing something colorful. Sad that Naked just can’t die or be done, and also I’m hopeful but not expecting the quality to be up to the pre-L’Oreal takeover standard
Dare I hope that this one will actually be good, even really good?!
I like the colour story, and would use every shade included.
I so want UD to make good products and stop calling them “Naked”.
