MAC Colour Excess Gel Pencil Swatches (x12)
MAC Colour Excess Gel Pencil Eye Liners ($23.00 for 0.01 oz.) is a new pencil eyeliner range with 12 shades. They twist-up, so they contain less product than eyeliners that you’d sharpen. I was semi-interested in testing these until I read they had a 24-hour wear claim, LOL. Nonetheless, enjoy these swatches!
Serial Monogamist looks like my kind of colour (but wow, has the price for Sephora’s house brand ever jumped!). In fact, it looks a lot like an old favourite – Diving in Malaysia – which was much cheaper, contained more product (though you do have to sharpen it) and which they DISCONTINUED, the idiots!
Oh – DUH to me! Why did I think these were from Sephora??? I need to slow down and READ more carefully!
I was just about to put Serial Monogamist in my recent order, but I’m glad I didn’t. I expected a darker and more green green.
Ah would love for you to review these!
Me too!
Nudge Nudge and those two almost pastel shades of green and purple are pulling me in! They are different enough to be fun shades for summer. I’m dying at the 24 hour claim 🤣💀🤣
Like, uh, almost everyone removes their makeup at bedtime!
I have at times fallen asleep on the couch when watching TV. It happens more often than I would like. Anyway, generally I wake up with my eye makeup almost intact. The face is a lot worse. 🙂
I think that as you sleep and the lids aren’t moving all that much, the makeup stays on quite well.
I use an eyelid primer and have quite oily lids.
So maybe they do last for 24 hours, here’s hoping MAC will send me some to try. 😀
I only wear eyeliner to tightline my upper and lower water lines. Does anyone know if these are meant for the water lines and how they perform? Appreciate any and all feedback.
A 24 hour wear time? You would have to be dreaming MAC! We shall see – a couple look nice – Skip the Waitlist and Serial Monogamist (where did the brand get that name?).
At least MAC isn’t inundating us with huge releases anymore and that’s a blessing.
I dunno.. hasn’t colourpop already done this..much cheaper? Guess the 24hour claim will be the test.
