ColourPop Flute Punch Super Shock Highlighter Reviews & Swatches
Flute Punch
ColourPop Flute Punch Super Shock Cheek (Highlighter) ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a soft, rosy peach base with lighter, yellowy gold shimmer throughout that tended to dominate (the base color seemed to get lost on my skin tone).
The texture was smooth, moderately emollient, and blendable without being prone to lifting up base products, but it was more prone to sheering out and moving around compared to most of the Super Shock cheek products I’ve tried as it was just a little more emollient than ideal. It had semi-sheer color payoff when applied with a stippling brush and semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation when applied with a fingertip. This shade lasted well for nine hours before fading a bit.

Formula Overview
$10.00/0.15 oz. - $66.67 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "buildable" coverage and can be applied with fingertips (which will yield "higher coverage") or a brush (for sheerer coverage). It's a cream-based product that has a subtle, "wet" feel to it but never has the thickness of a true cream-based blush.
It goes on with the smoothness of a cream formulation but diffuses and blends (without lifting up one's base) more like a powder product. The product sets to a powder finish, so the product won't slide around during the day.
On me, the wear tends to be between eight and 10 hours. Most shades have medium, buildable pigmentation with some being semi-opaque to opaque on occasion. They are typically blendable, easy to use, and long-wearing.

Simply perfect. At least for me now that I’m going more and more towards that “lit-from-within” look in my highlighters. This one has that effect down pat.
I think it would look lovely on you, Nancy.
Thank you, Helene! Something t think would work on quite a few other skintones, too. ✨
